Let me get this, a person voluntarily destroys healthy teeth because they want a "perfect" smile to post on social media. As a result of trying to save money real damage is done to the pegs left over and gums. Somehow the British taxpayer has to cover the costs of these idiots mistakes through the NHS. From what I understand getting an appointment with a NHS dentist is very difficult so many of these people will have to pay out of pocket.

I can’t say I have ever seen a Brit with perfect teeth, but I guess it could happen. Maybe one day, they will invent the toothbrush!

Soft enamel runs in the family. By my early 20s I had to have a similar procedure done on all my front teeth on the top because my real teeth were chipping and breaking. That was 30 years ago. The porcelain crowns are better looking and harder than my real teeth ever were. The only problem is one fell off in the sink when brushing my teeth about 10 years ago. The dentist just glued it back on the next day and no problems since.

Thank god for modern dentistry.

I am thankful that I have good dental coverage. I’m getting my annual cleaning next Tuesday. They are not the Hollywood fake straight teeth (a lot of actors have fake teeth), but they are heathy.

Sounds like the Turkish “dentists” get too close to the nerve during the crown prep. Some folks will probably need root canals, now.

I knew a brit who had teeth like a picket fence. A lot of them do. One day we were just visiting, he was one of the brits I worked with that was a really nice fellow. I asked him what his father did for a living in the UK. “He is a dentist.” I nearly bit my tongue off trying not to guffaw.

Its a story I've repeated several times here.

My dentist here in Arizona says most of his business is repairing the damage the people get when they go to Mexico for the cheap dentistry.

I doubt the tooth stubs can survive after being filed down like this. I have a couple of crowns and one implant. They haven't given me any problems.

They don’t have fluoride in the tap water in the UK. That’s one of the main reasons their teeth are universally terrible.

Didn’t the banker on THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES have this done, until Granny pulled the caps off?

For whatever reason my wife has had constant problems with her teeth over the years. She takes good care of them but a lot of it happened when she was young and in her teen years.

A couple of years ago we went to Los Algondoes mexico at https://sanidentalgroup.com/ and had all her problem teeth pulled and implants put in. Her front teeth had been capped and operated on after a childhood accident but hey never looked right. So we ended up capping all the front teeth top and bottom to match.

I have to say the results are pretty good. She is now past all the problems with her teeth. We got all that done for only $10,000 in two trips...one for evaluation and second for the work to be done......it would have cost 40k or 50K in the us.
