Hollywood elites including Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, and Tom Hanks are helping to bankroll Stacey Abrams’ latest bid to unseat Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R). Her efforts have also received sizable donations from an organization affiliated with George Soros.
Other Hollywood celebrities who have donated to Stacey Abrams’ One Georgia Inc., PAC include Barbra Streisand, Bryan Cranston, Ed Helms, and Lance Bass.
The donations were disclosed in a recent public filing for One Georgia, which reported more than $12 million in fundraising for the two-month period ending June 30

1. Earlier this year a state senator wanted to cap the film credit to $900,000,000. It started out, years ago, at $800,000,000. Kemp, Ralston, et al went bananas over it and squashed the bill. It is now resting at its $1,200,000,000 A YEAR...EACH YEAR...EVERY YEAR... and will probably go up whenever the movie people want it to, so all they have to do is threaten to leave and the MORON KEMP gives them what they want.
2. The people of Georgia don't make much of anything from this, if at all. There was a question on the primary ballot this year about keeping the film credit. I'm curious what the results were and if they'll produce them
3. When the aforementioned bill was presented, the yelled about the loss of jobs. News report said 10,000 would be lost. Well, as one person that lives in the Peach State, if 10,000 liberals from the West Coast and NYC moved out, I'd be popping bottles
4. The only people that want the film industry here are: Kemp, Ralston, Duncan, liberals in Atlanta, and the film industry, which is getting rich off the subsidy and not spending a much of their own money to film their Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu movies. There isn't much else being filmed here, on a large scale. And according to some great research by, poconpundit, only around 4% of filming takes place in Georgia. So, Hollywood is getting an enormous bang for taxpayers bucks
5. Kemp salivates over the film industry. The same industry that is, per this article, pouring money and support into the state to GET RID OF HIM.
6. When it comes to the big things...Hollywood Rivian Microsoft Facebook...and other liberal corporate entities, there is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in what Kemp and Abrams support.
7. If Kemp wins the state continues to circle the bowl, faster and faster, because the Republican's in the legislature won't put him and Ralston in check. If Abrams wins, the state is at a standstill....Again, Kemp and Abrams want the same things.
8. I DO NOT CARE THAT PERDUE WAS A MILQUETOAST candidate. One, people say, that wouldn't be able to beat Abrams. And Kemp can? This election is about the state of this state. If Republican's were going to stay home because of Perdue, then not a one of them is a Republican. This is far bigger than the person. As bad as some say that Perdue is/was, I was at least willing to give him a chance to STOP giving this state away to these people supporting Abrams, because I know damn well that Kemp is.
9. Now we have another story proving that Kemp, Ralston and the rest are colossal MORONS and that Hollywood is nothing but manipulative, greedy hypocrites, that will get even richer off the Georgia taxpayer...
Woke Joke: Hollywood Unlikely to Quit Georgia, Louisiana in Protest over Abortion Due to Lucrative Tax Incentives

So, we now know that they're going to use Georgia and its taxpayers as a slush fund, much in the same way that our elected representatives in DC, use Ukraine, as theirs. Amazing how easily the taxpayer gets shafted, time and time again, and we keep electing the same people that abuse us, over and over.
I hope Kemp reaps what he has sewn.
These names should mean a political death sentence
Walrus Woman to the rescue 🤪
Going to Hollywood for help , can’t be good back home
Sadly, Lurkinanloomin, we will pay for it. In more ways than one.
And I didn’t even touch on his love affair with illegals, refugees, Rivian, Microsoft, and so many other things.
Brags about cutting the state income tax less than 1%, while everyone’s property taxes are exploding to pay for all his BS.
And we still haven’t got the school tax bill for all the illegals that are being resettled here.
10. I DO NOT GIVE A FLYING RATS A$$ THAT HE OPENED THE STATE EARLY....Most of the state, except for the Dem controlled counties and cities were already pretty much open as some of them never closed down.
And if that is a person’s only reason for voting for this MORON you need to do some more research.
Then again, it’s too late.
My best friend since high school lives in Georgia.
I don’t want Abrams to win, but Kemp has laid the groundwork for it to happen.
I was thinking Water Buffalo.
Abrams 53/47 = no RINOs, no way!
11. Soros is in the mix, helping out Abrams, per the article. Colossal MORON Kemp is giving Rivian, partly owned and will be controlled by Soros, the largest tax incentive package EVER. To the tune of $1,500,000,000.
He’s giving the guy trying to get rid of him billions of dollars.
Surely, one would think he couldn’t be that dumb. Reminds me of the redneck saying....Hold my beer.
Elect it and you’ll have to feed it
What does this water buffalo have to offer beyond her weight?
Proof positive that Hollyweird libs are idiots.
He thinks he has a deal for rigging GA against Trump, but he will be double-crossed.
I couldn’t care less if Kemp get beaten. Georgia deserves the water buffalo as governor.
Kemp is a full on deep state infiltrator. So there is some kind of game going on here.
not a dime’s worth of difference between them...
She’s loaded with something but not experience
Kemp and Raffensburger control the elections in Georgia. That normally skews things toward the Democrats but in a gubernatorial election will favor the Republican, him.
