I did have one once. With a friend. drove up to Big Sur and wandered around in the woods. We were especially taken with a waterfall. Every drop stood out individually. Fascinating, and basically smoothed off my friend’s nerves. I was already pretty smoothed off, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Never needed or wanted more.

frequently dropping large amounts of LSD is a bad idea... i don’t know anyone who was improved by doing that. Every blue moon, in a safe environment, with the proper state of mind going into it... have at it!

I tried mushrooms once back in the early ‘70s. It was very nice and not at all scary but once was enough. I can see how a tiny dose might be comforting.
I think I read somewhere that it has been used in a hospice with good effect allowing people to face their death with enhanced peace.

Noted.
Good.
This is what Leary pushed in 1960.
He could get no traction so he and others took it to the general public.
Leary was pushing for non gender pronouns back in the 60’s/70’s
