Millennials are turning out to be the most selfish brats ever produced. I love my kids to the last, even when they refuse to wish me happy Father’s Day, birthday, or anniversary. I’m always there for them.

I think the word for a species that doesn’t reproduce is “extinct”. Societies that aren’t inclined toward what we quaintly refer to as “traditional values” tend to go there. That’s how those values become “traditional”.
Maybe they could just get one of those little Tamogachi things that were popular when my kid was young.

I remember decades ago when my now-near 40 year old daughter wanted this expensive realistic baby doll. It looked real, it cried, it wet itself and had rudimentary software that dictated she ‘take care of it as a mother would’ (i.e., pick it up, speak to it, comfort it.)
It took about two hours of it for her to abandon it and never mention it again. She got what she wanted but decided otherwise after the experience.
FYI, she did a lot better with the three real girls she had later.... :0)
