I remember decades ago when my now-near 40 year old daughter wanted this expensive realistic baby doll. It looked real, it cried, it wet itself and had rudimentary software that dictated she ‘take care of it as a mother would’ (i.e., pick it up, speak to it, comfort it.)
It took about two hours of it for her to abandon it and never mention it again. She got what she wanted but decided otherwise after the experience.
FYI, she did a lot better with the three real girls she had later.... :0)
