He is absolutely right, and I admit up front to being a big fan of David Horowitz.

He may be right or wrong on some issues, but on what drives the Left and makes them tick, he has no peer.

And he should know. He was raised as a Leftist. And raised his kids as Leftists. Red Diaper Babies, they were called.

His turning point was the murder of a young woman the Black Panthers brought on board to manage their books (Horowitz was their lawyer)

They murdered a nice, young, white woman because in their drug addled states, they thought she “knew too much” so they brutally murdered her. It sure did open his eyes.

Prob for me is it’s Youtube. I am a speed reader but Youtube makes you have to watch it at their pace. I just won’t.

while I read on here my husband has the tv on the golf channel and that is another reason I won’t put it on it will be a distraction.

Just saying this so those out there who post youtube vids know what may also be true for others who don’t watch them.

Thanks...Horowitz is a scholar, so it is great to listen to him in this informal chat. It's well worth the time (≅ 28min.) to listen to this interview. His reasoning for supporting Trump is exactly what I would expect any of us who have opposed the left in public political settings to understand.

He's still an ex-Trotskyist so although he no longer wants to make the world safe for communism he does want to make it safe for free market democracy.

Nice idea, but just as utopian and wrongheaded.

I highly recommend Horowitz's book "Radical Son".

It's an autobiography and details his transition from being a committed socialist to the conservative he is today. The book covers his years with the Black Panthers and reveals what ugly and criminal people they really were.

A fellow Freeper turned me on to this book.
