I had an “aha” moment recently. I found myself thinking that progressives camouflage themselves by appearing stupid. It serves their purposes perfectly. We underestimate and discount them as fools, and they continue their nefarious agenda unimpeded. Look at all they accomplish! They are so far from being fools, they’re winning.
We who have common sense rail at them for the nightmares of inflation, open borders, medical tyranny, supply chain problems, energy policy, violence, lack of support for the rule of law, and persecuting those they dislike but they are laughing at us. They love every glorious minute. Destroying babies, turning our youth into mentally unstable trannies, lowering our standard of living—how well they are accomplishing their agenda to diminish humanity, whilst gaining ultimate power for themselves!
Slowly, our rights and liberties are being bled away. With Biden at our country’s helm, they have a perfect fool as the focal point. We can’t fight back. They know that he will blindly take whatever comes his way—not that it will matter because, by the time he’s truly exposed, presumably after the November election, there won’t be much “there” there anymore. He’s playing his role perfectly. This, I believe, is his proudest moment. Can you convince me otherwise?
Look at our policies. Open borders—what country in its right mind would allow that? Abortion up till birth? That’s infanticide, legalized. They might as well be throwing the babies in a sacrificial fire to appease some pagan gods. “Bottom” and “top” surgery on puberty-retarded teenagers? I promise, 98% will regret it when it’s too late to come back to normal—the suicide rate will soar. A lost generation of youth, as more and more school kids and young adults “identify” as trans or nonbinary. Is it any wonder the military recruitment levels are at historic lows?

Definite evil. They know what they’re doing.
Not illogical if the purpose is to degrade and destroy the United States as an effective power.

They are also expert at twisting the meaning of words to suit their agenda. For example, liberals don’t call themselves liberals anymore. They are now “progressives”. Free speech that they don’t like is now “hate speech”. Etc.
Conservatives are so far behind in this game that it’s not even funny.
This is important to understand. While republicans lick their chops in anticipation of November’s ‘red wave’, the despicable ruling class has continued to decompose the American nation brick by brick, with one bureaucratic/administrative atrocity after another, usually unreported by the press and unseen by the public.
When asked the rare pointed question by the rare white house press journalist, the current bot simply denies all knowledge and spews some weasel words; and the press numbly carries on as if nothing had happened.
Every agency of government is engaged in the demolition. The people in charge call it the “all- of-government” approach— meaning every operative has a role to play in America’s destruction, no matter what their nominal area of responsibility.
They know exactly what they are doing and why...international Communism.
I don't think the Left is playing stupid and laughing. Playing stupid even for potential gain requires a healthy sense of self...and they have proven themselves to be thin-skinned and fragile.
I would not say the “only look” crazy and stupid. They ARE crazy and stupid.
The playbook is to feed us a steady stream of increasingly irrational information. Eventually, everyone exposes themselves as being in one of two groups: those loyal to the noble cause, and the traitors who demand fact and reason.
Once the nation is divided in this way, it’s easy to cull the herd.
This was the playbook of 20th century totalitarians, and it is the playbook of 21st century totalitarians.
It’s like Satan has control of them, owns their souls. It’s no wonder that they also hate Christians and want/need to destroy America because it was founded on Christian ideals, even though destroying America is also making their lives a living hell.
The Bible tells us that this will happen. And it tells us which side will ultimately win. We all need to be very clear which side we are on. Our eternity depends on it.

This includes all democrat party voters.
Progressives know some will buy the Jack and the bean stalk story (propaganda) the media is their biggest tool.
Until people learn to think for them self they will keep winning.
The young and dumb are the prime target they are good at spreading misinformation.
That era ended when those young people became useful idiots for the communist movement (and when the communists gained a serious and acceptable foothold in the U.S.).
Communists fed liberals a strong diet of propaganda until they entered a zombie-like brainwashed state. They became convinced that they could live forever in that immature phase.
Liberalism mutated from being a temporary stage of developmental retardation for teenagers to a popular kind of Peter Pan Ideology.
And then Never-Never Land transmogrified into the island of the Lord of the Flies.
