Parents file ‘blockbuster lawsuit’ against Loudoun County Schools for ‘moral corruption of children’ ‘Today we bring that fight to the court to vindicate the rights of parents, not just here, but everywhere.’

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Virginia (LifeSiteNews) — A group of parents filed suit against Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia for “moral corruption of children” over the school board’s promotion of radical gender ideology, Fox News reported.

America First Legal’s Center for Legal Equality filed the “blockbuster lawsuit” against Loudoun County Public Schools “on behalf of 11 courageous parents” in response to “the district’s systemic and egregious moral corruption of children and its deliberate, and almost gleeful, violations of parental rights to control the upbringing of their children,” Fox reported.

“Many will remember that Loudoun County was the epicenter of the debate over parents’ rights in the fall of 2021,” America First Legal stated in a June 29 press release. “Today we bring that fight to the court to vindicate the rights of parents, not just here, but everywhere.”

According to the conservative group, “The delusion that public school bureaucrats – not parents – have the right, the authority, and the power to decide what’s best for a child is a sickness that has spread across the country to schools in all states.”

Loudoun County, Virginia became a major political and cultural flashpoint last year after parents raised the alarm about the school board’s implementation of radical gender ideology. Policies enacted by the school board permit boys who identify as girls to use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, and force children to use the preferred gender identity “pronouns” of peers.

Last year, Daily Wire investigative reporter Luke Rosiak broke an exclusive story showing that the school board had tried to cover up an incident in which a boy wearing a skirt raped a female student in a school bathroom.

Many outraged parents responded to the controversy by flocking to school board meetings to denounce the radical policies, helping to spark a nationwide parents movement.

The mobilization of American parents against radical agendas in the classroom gave rise to a bevy of Republican-led initiatives to expand parental rights, ban LGBT-promoting curricula in the classroom, and require students to only use bathrooms and locker rooms corresponding to their biological sex.

Exactly. It is every property tax paying citizen who pays for every school, teacher, educational bureaucrat, and this horrible perverted public education being forced on their children. The taxpayers own the schools and have every right to stop this indoctrination. Why aren’t they doing it??

It only takes one to start a shitstorm they can’t contain. There will be more. Probably better to have one to focus on and embolden a growing movement.

Isn’t America First Legal Stephen Miller’s law group (he worked for the Trump administration and was very strong against illegal immigration)?

I agree. Lawsuits in EVERY school district across this country should be filed. But then again that would be rewarding the people who normalized this mental illness, the lawyers......

Almost all of the government has been weaponizied. Do people rally think if there is a red wave in the 2022 election the Democrats are going peacefully give up their power grab?

Why don’t they do something? Because in general they don’t have the power to control what goes on in the government schools (hint: they don’t control teacher training, curriculum, and many other policies set by law), because they are government “education” welfare queens, and because they themselves are afraid of the woketards or are woketards themselves.

There are parents who are doing something - they’re known as “homeschoolers”. They deprive the government schools of their children and the capitation money they would otherwise get. Do you want a revolution, do not institutionalize your children in government schools...and don’t try to hide behind the BS excuses such as “I don’t know how” or “I can’t afford it”.

Very good point. Loudon County’s pushback was as far as i know , the very FIRST to gain high-profile status, and they did that by being resolute in challenging the school board and it’s self-declared and never-before-challenged “authority”. This goes back quite a ways. So it rightfully became the “epicenter” of a slowly widening rebellion. The idea is “do it right” here, in this one place, lay all your cards on the table, don’t be mollified by false attempts at conciliation,(in the unlikely event that any come your way) and keep plugging away at them. Thereby giving the whole movement some battle-tested tools and strategies to fight and WIN!! My own feeling is that eventually the entire system needs to be either replaced, or massive changes HAVE to come by way of citizens withholding property taxes altogether from municipalities where no other solution can be found.

I know. The entire system needs to go. It’s far worse than people here realize.
