It only takes one to start a shitstorm they can’t contain. There will be more. Probably better to have one to focus on and embolden a growing movement.
Very good point. Loudon County’s pushback was as far as i know , the very FIRST to gain high-profile status, and they did that by being resolute in challenging the school board and it’s self-declared and never-before-challenged “authority”. This goes back quite a ways. So it rightfully became the “epicenter” of a slowly widening rebellion. The idea is “do it right” here, in this one place, lay all your cards on the table, don’t be mollified by false attempts at conciliation,(in the unlikely event that any come your way) and keep plugging away at them. Thereby giving the whole movement some battle-tested tools and strategies to fight and WIN!! My own feeling is that eventually the entire system needs to be either replaced, or massive changes HAVE to come by way of citizens withholding property taxes altogether from municipalities where no other solution can be found.
