Texas Governor Greg Abbott has defied President Joe Biden and ordered the Texas National Guard to start arresting migrants in Texas, and returning them to the Mexico border.
On Saturday, Abbott slammed the president, saying: 'Biden's border policies are crushing local communities up and down the border.'
He added that the Texas Department of Public Safety has already started making arrests after his executive order came into effect on July 7.
It's unclear how many migrants have been arrested since then, but photos posted by Abbott and the Texas DPS show a handful of illegal immigrants being rounded up and loaded into a waiting bus before being taken back to the Mexico border.
Members of National Guard and the Texas DPS have been charged with implementing the policy, according to the governor's office.
In total, around 10,000 officers and soldiers have been deployed. Texas shares a more than 1,200 mile long border with Mexico.
Abbott has also criticized Biden for 'refusing to do his job' and said that the he was failing to 'enforce the immigration laws enacted by Congress.'
The governor added: 'The cartels have become emboldened and enriched by President Biden's open border policies, smuggling in record numbers of people, weapons, and deadly drugs like fentanyl.'
Abbott's anti-illegal immigration plan, named Operation Lone Star, was first unveiled in March 2021.
On his official website, Abbott lists the apparent achievements of Operation Lone Star in fighting illegal immigration in his state.
Among those, Abbott lists securing $4 billion in funding for Texas' border security efforts, signing 15 laws cracking down on human trafficking in Texas and creating 'strike teams and establishing' new vehicle inspection checkpoints targeting semi-truck.'

He’s about a year and a half late?
Abbott needs to start arresting the pilots and seizing the planes that flying the wetbacks out of the border area.
Make the pain hit the pocketbook.
Hopefully there is a few trained snipers in the LEOs down there. Popping a few ‘coyotes’ would very likely change the dynamics a bit and may also give future border-jumpers pause to wonder if they may also be targeted.
Obviously we cannot mount a line of 50-cals along the river and make the river crossing a fatal endeavor. That would be a health hazard for the USA citizens down river.
Maybe the ‘soylent green’ solution has merit ...
Another thought ... the democrats are using the great replacement to thin out the ‘white’ vote because they cannot wait for a generation of ‘wokes’ to grow to voting age. They want to flood the USA with ignorant, diseased human detritus and then give them the right to vote. Since the voting age is typically 18, one way to combat the ‘immediate right to vote for illegals’ would be to pass laws that disallows illegals any vote for 18 years after their arrival in the USA. And while we are at it, pass laws that bar illegals from any taxpayer provided services.

Not good enough, Abbott! Officially declare an invasion and return them to MEXICO, not this side of the border which will permit them to say in the U.S.
Do your effing job, or disclose your true relationship with the cartels.
Sending them back “to the border” to be redistributed by Border Patrol into our interior IS NOT sending them back to Mexico!
Returning them to ports of entry where they are turned over to the feds for release into the USA.

Aside from votes and cheap labor there has to be a bigger democrat plan on what there going to use the illegals for what ever it is it cant be good for liberty.

So, at least a far as Texas is concerned, Abbott’s accomplishing something. I think only Feds can issue Deportation Orders, so da Gov has hit the limit of his powers making these arrests.
By arresting illegals all over Texas, he’s effectively forced the Feds into an “Anywhere But Texas” operational position; he’s taken his State off the table as an option for Feds looking to dump illegals. Additionally, he’s created a template other Governors can implement in their own States to further limit FedGov options for dumping illegals.
I wouldn’t tally that as “nothing”; I’d call it “showing the way.”
A governor putting his state first is exactly the same as a president putting America first.

THis wouldn't surprise me at all. He claimed quite a while back that he was going to be doing all kinds of things, like arresting those transporting illegals for the Feral Feds. Never heard anything about that after the initial press releases.
The DOJ will sue TX for Title VI violations and possibly arrest some of the TX LEO’s for “kidnapping”. The DOJ will get a restraining order to stop the policy and then it is off to the USSC, possibly expedited because of it being between two sovereigns.
