An oldie, but a goldie.
I never thought, I would say this.
I wish, I could be back in the 70's

I thought Bad Time and Closer to Home were their great songs. There are some old timers at the farmer's market that do a great version of the later.

By the way, they got their name from the Grand Trunk Western Railroad that goes right through their hometown of Flint, Michigan.

Really a very fun song to play on stage. I’ve had the pleasure probably a 100 or so times... Doesn’t get old.

"I wish, I could be back in the 70's ..." Had some of the best music - without a doubt!
I always pick the '70's Music' category when playing Name-That-Tune.
I consistently kick all opponents' butts when playing that!

Count me in. Most fun ever, especially the music.

Great band. Footstompin Music is my personal fave song. It’s a crime the arent in the rock and roll HOF.

I saw them in concert once. I was quite disappointed, though I had their albums and played them quite a bit.

I grew up during the 1970s and little did I know that I was among the last generation of kids to grow up completely free.
Just a few years after this photograph was taken, helicopter parents would force helmets on these kids and keep them indoors most of the time other than taking them to heavily supervised organized activities in their mini-vans.
And now those same parents lament that they have 30-something year old grown kids still living at home and mostly unable to function in adult society.

“Sweet Sweet Connie” banged ExPres42. Then again, who in Little Rock didn’t.

I loved GFR when I was a college student. I played the bass for my rock band, and I enjoyed Mel Schacher's work.

Why did I like GFR so much? Because they were LOUD. :-)

Me, too. Beside the economic problems, it was a great time to just have fun.
