Another case of the baby would not have lived long after birth. I just can't understand these women, can't they love the child for a few hours?

One in Ireland, one in Poland. CNN is looking far and wide for these instances.

Ridiculous CNN propaganda ... present something that’s representative of 0.0001% of abortions as the heart of the issue.

Here we go,they’re rolling out the ‘back to the days of coat hanger abortions’ mantra. How about the left’s favorite: “if we save the life of just one child..”

What does Ireland and Poland have to do with us?

Don’t even care. We won. It’s over.

Love? They need to learn how to do that, first.

Yes, we won.

This round.

It’s far from over; we need to keep fighting.

Contact your state legislature.

I’m in MA. Even our Republicans are Democrats. I’m happy for other states.

I don’t get it, either. I have some friends. He was a double boarded physician, father of a little boy and a younger girl when they learned that they were going to have another little boy. At 5 months gestation, they were advised to terminate because the baby had been developing with some birth defect and had been expected to die within hours. They couldn’t do it. Their little son was born and was loved by his parents and siblings for 16 months before he left this life. Having witnessed the great outpouring of parental love, the siblings are now vociferously pro-life. The father acquired a third board certification - in hospice. It is entirely beyond my grasp how these women accede to having their babies torn limb from limb in the place they should be safest.

Some of them believe the abortion industry's lies. It's of utmost importance to reach them with the truth. That's part of Crisis Pregnancy Centers' mission. It's really a mission for all of us.

Some of them are just plain evil.

If they could see a video of what actually happens to the baby in an abortion they would be horrified and immediately cancel the appointment. No sane woman would go through with it afterwards. Planned Parenthood etc does everything in their power to prevent women from learning those facts.

Isabela Szabor died because of ruptured membranes, infection and sepsis. Polish law permits termination of pregnancy in this case; the claim is that the doctors did not act because they were afraid to as the baby was still alive. This is what happened to a woman in Ireland a decade ago. There is an American woman in Malta with ruptured membranes, getting antibiotics, and trying to arrange medical evacuation now.

Hospitalization and close monitoring is a possibility to try to prolong the pregnancy long enough to give the baby a chance of survival. The earlier in the pregnancy, the less likely success.

Sepsis in the mother is a real risk and very dangerous.

Izabel Szabor having been refused abortion because of fetal abnormality does not seem to have caused her death, unless she tried herself to induce labor, and there is no allegation of that.

Before the Polish Supreme Court banned abortions for fetal abnormality, 98% were for fetal abnormality; 2% for rape, incest, and the life of the mother.

First of all, based on fetal abmormalities (open to some degree of interpretation), tons of kids with Downs would be killed every year. They are no less worthy of love than anyone else. This could be extended to Autism and children born with organ abnormalities as well; some which are very treatable.

Second, it is perfectly legal there to perform an abortion for life-saving measures, although if a cesaerian is possible, I’d think they’d want to try that first.

If these doctors don’t have the conviction to, “help” women whose health becomes threatened to the point of death due to the pregnancy, then they have no room to talk about the legality of abortion on demand. They don’t want to stand up for their beliefs, but demand that other people give up theirs? Cowards. Their ancestors from WWII are spinning in their graves.

Abortion rules in Europe tend to be more restrictive than in the US.

Invincible Ignorance is a myth.

Women who abort know that the baby is a baby and want the baby to die.

There is a difference between early delivery of a baby and an abortion. One seeks to deliver the baby and the other seeks to intentionally KILL the baby.

I hope and pray that people learn the difference if they don’t already know.
