Music superstar Carlos Santana collapsed on stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston Tuesday night.
I’ve just been listening the crap out of this, my favorite Santana tune -
Playing for Change - prayers for Carlos recovery, he’s one of the good guys. By they way, Tito Puente’s son is playing timbales in this video.
All I know is BLS, but I was taught that once someone loses consciousness you lay them down and put their feet up.
How would anyone know if he is having a heart attack? IDK, it seemed like a long time before any medical personnel arrived and that is why the lady jumped on stage and held up his legs......
“Black Magic Woman”
That song is actually Carlos Santana covering a Fleetwood Mac composition from before the Buckingham-Nicks era.
I understand. Thanks.
Written by Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac but Santana made it his own for sure!
Much better. There are a couple of people that post those google pass through links. I’m guessing they’re getting the links from their gmail account. Such an easy fix for them to visit that link and then get the resulting clean link. I guess they just paste the googly link here having never actually used it themselves?
Ugly links are a pet peeve of mine.
Saw this update...
...Santana, 74, was taken to the McLaren Clarkston hospital, where his management said he was being treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration. In an update on his personal Facebook page, Santana thanked his fans for their prayers and said he and his wife were “just taking it easy.”
“Forgot to eat and drink water so I (got) dehydrated and passed out,” he said on Facebook. “Blessing and miracles to you all.”
The musician’s concert with Earth, Wind & Fire scheduled for July 6 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, was postponed.
In February, Santana and members of his band tested positive for COVID-19, forcing them to cancel tour dates. He also canceled shows of his Las Vegas residency in December after he underwent an unscheduled heart procedure, he said in a video posted to Twitter.

It happens and more so when we get older
😉
To Santana’s credit, when he was inducted into the R&R HoF, he performed Black Magic Woman and had Peter Green join him onstage.
