I love the yarns at Hobby Lobby! Great score for you! This is sort-of fabric related. This is the score I scored at St. Vinnie's (Thrift Store) earlier this week.

Found the Bella Ruffle Throw that goes with the Blooming Prairie bedding I already have, and love. $45 Retail for the throw, which is full size; I paid $6.00! Score! There was a lady with a La Cruset Dutch Oven in her cart; sorry to have missed THAT one!

I've wanted that throw for-EVER, but I was NOT going to pay $45 for it!

I don’t paint - always wished I could, but not talented in either art or music, for that matter. I have a cousin whose wife was an art teacher & she does some water color paintings - very nice ones. On my facebook feed, I saw a water color painting I really loved and followed the artist - I like just about everything she paints. Here is her website & you can check out her watercolors .....

The baby booties for the shower tomorrow are done! I wanted to use them as a decoration on the gift bag & of course, they are wearable, too. This is the 2nd pair I've made - used 'sport' weight rather than 'worsted' to get a newborn size. It's ILTY 'Soft Blue', sport weight (light 3). I had a picture in my mind of how I wanted the gift bag/booties to look & I'm happy with the result. BTW, the ribbon tying the booties to the bag is light blue, gauzy, & has "It's A Boy" repeated on it in white - you can't see the detail in the pics.

Now I need to get busy on my scarf for the county fairs - time is beginning to run short!
