One of the most brazen thefts I’ve ever seen was at a company I worked for in the ‘80s right out of school. Two men pulled up to the lobby in a van and went inside. They told the receptionist that they were their to “pick up the computers for repair”. The receptionist let them in and the two men proceeded to remove computers from the employees desks — some while being used — all in the middle of the day. By the time they left in their van, the men had taken over forty computers.

I would shake those guys’ hands if I ever met them. The audacity of this move was inspiring…
