The outrage should not be over percentages. The outrage should be against those who want a 10 year old victim of sexual abuse forced to bear a child. A child bringing up a child!
The state takes children away from incompetent adult parents with some frequency. How would this be any different? Or did this fact just not occur to you?
Who says that a 10 year old needs to raise the child?
There are people that would adopt this kid.
There are people so desperate to have a kid, they would pay for all the medical costs and give her a gracious amount (for when she turns 18 it’s waiting for her) after they get the baby.
What you are doing is limiting the options/choices when in reality there are several/numerous.
It is a bad situation for sure.
But this 10 year old will still remember how she got pregnant (most likely) and that she had an abortion... You’re not going to “Format Disk/Delete all” and make it all good with an abortion (it’s not magical). That’s another thing to consider.
What is for sure though is that policies/regulations and laws need to be formulated for what is realistic, not some crazy outlying situation that constitutes a 1 in 100,000 situation for abortions. We do this everywhere else and we do not even think twice about it. Are you worried about being swallowed by an escalator?

And if I say I feel sorry for her, but am absolutely not concerned nor do I think we need to make any laws or regulations to deal with this issue, does that make me a heartless evil person?
This article using a 10 year old is an emotional appeal. It’s a little better than: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1o3NCPKZ4U
