We as a nation are at that defining moment when one side has to win and the other lose; there is no middle ground.
Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side.
Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate. As it does not have the cohesive factors of race or ethnicity, this nation as constituted can only survive based on the goodness of its people and the wisdom and integrity of its ruling class.
Ben Franklin at the close of the Constitutional Convention in 1787 in a speech to his fellow members of the convention said of the newly drafted Constitution and the government it created:
…and there is no form of Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and [I] believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it…
Ben Franklin’s prescient forewarning has come to pass. Over the past thirty-years, a plurality of ill-educated and malleable citizens have allowed the self-serving, decadent and nescient ruling class, in alliance with the radical left, to establish near-permanent despotism in the United States. They have deliberately and inexorably widened the gulf between the people

no, but very close. once we are there, historically we should expect pogroms.
For the record....... Donald Trump did not fight to save himself.
Thus, he is a loser
I always thought he should’ve made a stand and refused to leave the White House. Sort of like the way Borus Yeltsin stopped the old guard in Russia.
******
It does no good to vote for a party that doesn’t want to put the monster back into its cage. The key to restoring the republic is to get back to smaller government IMO.
An expansive government is the main tool the Left is using to centralize power and transform the country into its socialist vision. It is their cudgel and we need to take that leverage away from them by returning power to the states.
This is the immediate battle we must fight.
We’ve won a few battles recently but we are losing the war
************
The Administrative State will just work around its “losses”.
Finding “common ground” with evil means becoming evil. That is what it boils down to.
My dad always said something to the effect of meeting in the middle of the road or anywhere on the road gets you run over and killed.
The Left plays to win.
The Right does not.
“Our side” views compromise as winning.
Its really appeasing.
The truth is what I say it is.
The last few years I taught school, I saw an incredible increase in that concept with students. If they said it, they believed it to be true, they really did...just because they said it.
For some reason we don’t elect fighters.
We elect compromisers and appeasers.
And then we wonder why we’re losing the war.
Here’s the definition of NATION:
a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.
We are more like an empire where more and more people have less and less in common. The biggest thing we have in common is that we are ruled by a distant, out of touch oligarchy who demands our loyalty while they betray us at every turn.
Putting a single, small drop of raw sewage into a gallon of ultra-pure distilled and deionized water turns something utterly pure into utterly polluted.
Very good example.
The problem is, even the so called conservatives we elect have no morals. Either that or they have morals but no balls.
“Well, we are pretty good keyboard warriors.”
Not all of us. It is a known fact in the rural area where I live that one should not trespass on the property. A woman campaigning for Beto drove up my very long driveway one day. I’m not going to go back over the story again.
I don’t believe we will be able to vote our way out of this.
************
Voting gives us the illusion of trying to do something about it but the reality is the people we elect have no real desire to fix the problem. If fact, they perpetuate and exacerbate the problems plaguing the system.
The Republicans will probably take the House in November. Within six months time it will become apparent that they are doing as little as possible to turn things around. The same old unprincipled GOP “leadership” will be running the show and reaching across the isle to give Democrats what they want.
Prepare to be disappointed — yet again.
OK, suppose the coming red tsunami materializes bigly. Biden’s reign of chaos is unmatched in many ways (economy, crime, gender...) so this political reset could outdo Obie’s 60+ house seat loss...not to mention some 2,000 elected officials nationwide.
It likely will attract enough indies, libertarians, and Ds to marginalize those who wish to destroy the uniqueness that makes America a once truly free nation.
Key court decisions from a Supreme Court that’s showing a modicum of common sense have turned the tide. Abortion, 2A, and administrative overreach (EPA)
Biden will be neutered in 4 months time. Boldness from the top in the form of DjT and/or DeSantis will continue the course correction.
The Socialists, Marxists, Democratists numbers will be greatly reduced, but their megaphones will carry on, greatly inflating their numbers. There are many many more of us than them, despite what you hear.
Splitting the nation into red and blue may not be necessary after we decimate their numbers in November. The lessons of Democrat reign won’t be quickly forgotten. I forsee 12+ years of light.
Also, from that article, this is a key sentence of what is to come:
“Thanks to this elitist egocentricity and mal-governance, over sixty percent of the citizenry believes the American dream is no longer achievable for them, as their resentment toward the privileged ruling class and anger at being permanently locked into a de facto caste system inexorably grows.”
A great many of the immigrants to America believed fully in her unique constitution and its individual liberty.
***********
A lot of immigrants have missed out on America’s best days. They got to the party too late. Just a fact.
Yes, one ascendant, one decadent (i.e. woke),
one alive and thriving, one a sinking ship (i.e. woke).
Splitting the nation into red and blue may not be necessary after we decimate their numbers in November.
*************
What do you mean ‘we’, Kemosabe? Don’t confuse the GOP with “our party”.
The GOP’s true colors will be apparent again all too soon.
Same old “leadership”. Same old excuses. Same old appeasers.
The GOP is what it is. They’ll throw us a bone now and then just to keep getting our votes but they won’t do anything to really fight their Democrat friends and colleagues in the congress.
