Modern-day historians look back at the Soviet criminal system with a mixture of sorrow and disbelief. For example, Lavrentiy Beria, head of Stalin's secret police, often boasted, "Show me the man, and I'll show you the crime." Beria was bragging that he possessed a fearsome array of tools that could banish any political opponent to the gulag. An accusation became the legal equivalent of a conviction.
Decades later, a similar philosophy began to take hold on college campuses across the United States. For example, a lawsuit against Oberlin College in Ohio revealed that every male accused of a sexual peccadillo at that school was found responsible of the alleged offense.
These "kangaroo courts" were shut down in 2020, when a new due process regulation took effect, thanks to the intrepid efforts of former Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. The regulation featured a variety of commonsense due process procedures such as impartial investigations, cross-examination, and the presumption of innocence.
But no surprise, presidential candidate Joe Biden vowed to put a "quick end" to the DeVos rule. That "quick end" happened yesterday, when the Department of Education released its draft Title IX regulation.
Since the Title IX law is designed to curb sex discrimination, heated debates had arisen about reworking the foundational word, "sex." In the draft regulation, the Biden administration settled on "sex" being expanded to include "sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity."

Men are much better off going to trade school or community college to learn a practical and skilled trade(s) to avoid all of the gender woke garbage university campuses seem to be full of these days and to be more employable and ultimately financially better off than those who go to such universities these days.
The only answer to this is online colleges. Less expensive, go your own pace and no physical classroom or dorms.

I’m not pro-union, but the trade union’s apprenticeship programs are golden. From day one as an apprentice, you are paid for your work, you work on current equipment, not a 5 - 10 year old mock-up, they have mandatory monthly skills training, an apprentice’s salary increases as they advance thru the apprenticeship program.
Apprentice do have to pass the apprenticeship entrance test, but most locals provide training and sample tests. And an apprentice does pay union dues which supports your local hall but most goes to the national union headquarters. And I’m confident all national union headquarters are leftist supporting the Dems. But most rank and file members seldom follow the Union Prez voting edicts.
I have 3 college age boys. My first two attended under the DeVos rule of due process (her greatest achievement BTW because men had only kangaroo courts prior) but now my third is in danger. He has a steady girlfriend but I know his life can be ruined easily now—one misstep or she breaks up with him or changes her mind about him and he’s a goner. His dad and I will have more talks with him before he goes back this fall. Much more dangerous for him now. He just wants a computer science degree and he can’t do online learning (he hates it).
