Typical simple-minded reporting by the MSM. Old Fuss and Feathers Winfield Scott never saw a buffet table he didn’t like. But he saved us in the War of 1812, won the Mexican War and in his old age provided the game plan (Scott’s Anaconda) that won the Civil War for the Union.
Probably by now a number of countries have intelligence that can track individual military officers. No reason Biden wouldn’t, but so could UK and France, or all three.
There are a few others with capability but not likely to use it in current comditions.
I view Scott as one of America’s greatest generals. I think an argument can be made that he is the greatest if you look at the consequences of his victories & strategic thinking.
