Thousands of pro-abortion protesters gathered outside Philadelphia’s City Hall on Friday night after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
The pro-abortion activists reportedly gathered at Philadelphia’s City Hall and marched towards Independence Hall and back to show their frustration with the Supreme Court’s decision.
Some protesters held signs that read “my body, my choice,” while others sang, “we want justice.”
One protester criticized congressional Democrats for not taking action to codify Roe into law before the Court overturned it.
“They’ve had 50 years to codify it into a real law versus just a Supreme Court decision,” one protester told local CBS News.
Some potions of the crowd reportedly chanted “no justice, no peace,” according to a video taken from the protest.

gundog:The Democrats didn't want to actually go on record. It would make members from marginal districts vulnerable. Anyway I don't think a mere statute would be sufficient. What was needed was a constitutional amendment, and that requires a supermajority in both the House and Senate and then of state legislatures. That wasn't going to happen. Also a constitutional amendment to ban abortion nationwide also won't happen.
That was the problem with Roe. It really wouldn’t hold up, Constitutionally, to serious scrutiny. The left was better off letting that particular sleeping dog lie.
A definition of life and when it begins would go a long way to clarifying the issue. I’m content to let the States deal with it. The issue may actually get a lot of people, on both sides, off of the bench and into the game.
If pro-abortion protesters it’s to much of a cost and a burden to them to have a child guess what the hell they want to do to their parents when the reach their 70’s.
The leaders of all these demonstrations across the country are very well funded by the "grassroots" organizations of our globalist overlords, and take their marching orders from them. This has been true since Dubya's admin or earlier. The internet is enabling as much evil as good; quickly assembling mobs is one of those evils.
