The Ten Commandments & the need for a Moral, Educated Population in a Self-Governing Republic

John Adams wrote to Thomas Jefferson, November 4, 1816: "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and the Sermon on the Mount contain my religion."

President Harry S Truman addressed the Attorney General's Conference, February 1950: "The fundamental basis of this nation's laws was given to Moses on the Mount ... I don't think we emphasize that enough these days... If we don't have a proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except for the State."

"THE TEN COMMANDMENTS are not the laws. They are THE Law" -stated Cecil B. DeMille, November 8, 1956, at the New York opening of his epic film, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

Released by Paramount Pictures, the movie starred Charlton Heston as Moses and Yul Brynner as Pharaoh Rameses II. Adjusted for inflation, it went on to become the 8th highest grossing film of all time.

While filming on-location in Egypt, Cecil B. DeMille, then 75 years old, climbed a 107-foot ladder to shoot the famous Exodus scene from atop of the massive Per Rameses set.

Though doctors ordered him to rest, DeMille finished directing the movie. He never fully recovered and died of a heart condition on January 21, 1959. DeMille had anticipated doing a film on the Book of Revelation.

Blue is a color associated with His 10 Commandments. The priests were to wear blue. Israel was called to wear fringes of blue to remind them.. Numbers 15:38-40.

There is a woman, priestly adorned in the book of Revelation, that is not wearing the color Blue..
A lawless woman..
A lawless church..

America, which began with 13 colonies, like Christ and His 12 Disciples, and grew to 50 states, like the New Covenant Church grew, at 50-Pentecost, is a reflection of the New Covenant govt and church, on a nations level.

America may simply be a testimony to the state of the end times Church.
Lawless.
Or at least, serpent led.

The bible teaches that Moses and Aaron were pictures of a shepherd and priest, like Christ. Like the church.

The staffs that Moses and Aaron both carried, became serpents, then returned back into staffs, as a sign for Israel to believe.

The world, America and the Church, may be at the point where the serpent turns back into a staff. A proper staff of a shepherd and priest.
So Israel, who is enslaved and unbelieving today, can believe.

And prepare for their deliverance from bondage by the blood of the Passover Lamb, Christ, and His reign , as Lion, from the Tribe of Judah..

Two signs caused Israel to believe.
The other sign would be a picture of sinful,mortal flesh, transforming into immortal, sinless, glorified flesh.

That’s not foreign to the church. That’s the blessed hope for the Church. Glorification.immortal flesh.

The first step has to happen first, though. Satan’s tail grabbed and America, and the Church, return to a more lawful and orderly nation, and church..

For His Purposes and His Glory..

There is a hope in this nation more than maybe any nation, short of Israel, on the planet..
