A pickup truck has plowed into pro-choice protesters in Iowa as demonstrations turned violent after the Supreme Court's Roe v Wade ruling.
The black vehicle drove through the group of activists despite them screaming at it to stop and hammering the window in Cedar Rapids.
One appeared to get caught in front of it and narrowly avoided being run over before the driver sped off during the terrifying exchange on Friday night.
It comes as tens of thousands descended on streets across the US amid mixed reactions at the Supreme Court tearing up Roe v Wade and handing the rights to abortions back to states after nearly 50 years.
Furious demonstrators took to the streets in cities such as Washington DC, Atlanta, New York City, and Seattle as they begged the Biden administration to find a way to overrule the decision.
Meanwhile pro-life protesters also amassed nationwide as some broke down in tears as they celebrated the immediate end of abortions in 18 states.
The Supreme Court on Friday struck down the right to abortion in a seismic ruling that shredded five decades of constitutional protections.
The conservative-dominated court overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade decision enshrining a woman's right to an abortion, saying individual states can restrict or ban the procedure themselves.
A witness told DailyMail.com four people were left injured - one hospitalized - after the truck plowed through protesters in Cedar Rapids on Friday night.
He said: 'I hadn't noticed him before. We were crossing an intersection. I'm guessing this gentleman did not agree with what we were doing.

After what happened to Reginald Denny during the OJ riots, I’ve always said if demonstrators ever surrounded my vehicle in a threatening manner and stood in front to prevent me from leaving, that it would be the LAST time they ever pulled that stunt.
They should be thrilled, the driver was simply demonstrating he was “pro-choice” when it came to free travel on public roads!

These idiots really don’t understand the Supreme Court decision, which simply means murdering the unborn is not a constitutional right. The power goes back to each individual state to decide.
