College and university professors had a public meltdown on Twitter in reaction to the U.S. Supreme Court overruling Roe v. Wade on Friday. One Stanford professor declared that women not having the ability to kill their unborn children is “barbaric.”
“The Supreme Court decision to strike down Roe v. Wade rushes the nation toward an abyss where we have no civil or human rights,” proclaimed Critical Race Theory proponent and Boston University professor Ibram X. Kendi in a Twitter tirade.
“When women don’t have the right to make reproductive choices about their own bodies, we lose a foundational right,” Kendi added in a follow-up tweet. “When we lose foundational rights, all rights are threatened.”
Stanford assistant professor Hakeem Jefferson also reacted to the Court’s life-saving decision, bizarrely claiming that women not having the ability to kill their unborn children is “barbaric.”
“Today’s decision to overturn Roe is barbaric,” Jefferson proclaimed. “It should piss off anyone who believes that, in a free country, no woman should be forced to give birth.”
“This decision reminds us of what we’ve long known: this is an extreme & radical court, and an increasingly illegitimate one,” the professor added.

Nonsense. Women have the right and means. They can keep their legs closed or take birth control.
Not one of these “professors” offered a truthful statement and they all blocked who can respond to them.

Yeah, I imagine all those barbarians at the gates of Rome were all in for banning abortions.

Odd thing is that most of these people complaining live in states that will continue to allow abortion. Why should they care that red states will now regulate abortion?
I'm in Missouri and the women most likely to want an abortion all live in and around St Louis and KC. For those in St Louis, they can jump across the river to Illinois as they've been doing ever since MO closed the last abortion clinic. KC women will have to drive a little further.
In any case, if some women just have to get an abortion every year or two, let them move to a blue state.
Women have numerous, numerous contraceptive choices.
And like they always tell men, they can always just “not have sex.”
So if you dont want kids at the moment, use spermicide, the pill (and no oopsies i forgot to take it), female condom, the sponge, cervical cap, diaphram, iud, or simply keep it in the panties with the legs crossed. You even have ru-486 if you’re that incompetent not to use any of the above.
Guys only have one purchase-able choice, condoms.
At least seven female options available. Hardly should be a problem to be responsible enough to not get pregnant if you don’t want to. Being responsible isn’t hard. You can do it without murdering another human being.
Or just don’t open the legs. Thats what they’ve coldly told guys. Keep it in the pants. Well, that advice works for you too gals.
A made up right 50 years ago that never existed prior, isn’t a foundational right.
Protecting innocent little preborn babies between conception and birth is of course the main value of Roe and Casey being overturned.
As a bonus for faithful pro-lifers who have stayed the course for decades, the meltdowns of pro-abortion people are fun to hear and read, and bring enormous joy and entertainment.
>>I vaguely remember a statement from a college Chicago professor about 30 years ago who stated that mothers should be able to kill her child up to age 5.
That was Peter Singer, i believe, a professor of BioEthics at Princeton University.
And they ignore that Margaret Sanger, Democrapt, pushed abortion as a means to reduce the black population of this country. Nothing like black Democrapt politicians and academic supporting Sanger’s abortion goals to help out preserving “white supremacy.” (semi-sarcastic)
Women have plenty of rights to make reproductive choices, especially in connection with birth control. There are many ways to prevent conception.
Making the life of the unborn a trivial matter is wrong, and always has been wrong.
Life begins at conception.
Exactly. I’ve been sending up thanks to God all day.
The unhinged, screeching temper tantrums are a bonus.
Kind of like when I was working in the Oakland, CA area in 2016 when Trump won the election. 😁
Does anybody know what happened with the idiot on the Memorial Bridge in DC?
But it's ok for unsupportive parents and feckless boyfriends to force women to have abortions, or for abusive men to coerce sex from reluctant women, knowing their backs are covered by abortion on demand. Not barbaric, no.
There's a case pending now of a woman who was raped at 16 by a 30-year-old man, and now that the child of the rape is 16, the judge transferred custody of the girl to the rapist and ordered the raped mother to pay child support. Not barbaric at all.
This dude needs to reassess the definition of "foundational." It certainly wasn't foundational to our Constitution, to the Bill of Right that guarantees his right to spew bile, nor to any of the advances in human rights made possible by our Founding. Professor K is a bitter, anxious, self-loathing hater.
If the Court acts like a Court - it is illegitimate. Only if it acts as a Super Legislature does it have legitimacy - according to these people.
A progressive is an agressive totalitarian monster who is outraged that someone somewhere is not in agreement with him/her/it. Everyone in the world mustvagree or be destroyed.
Because they want the (federal) "mandate of heaven."
