Shocking surveillance video shows the moment a Michigan man pulled a weapon on a father holding his sleeping baby at gas station in one the most crime-ridden cities in America.
The father quickly reacts, waving his arms in front of the gunman in an attempt to grab the weapon during the altercation at a Detroit gas station Sunday evening.
The suspect then steps out of the store and is seen fiddling with the firearm in the parking lot. Investigators believe the gun may have jammed when the father attempted to grab it.
The wild video is now part of an aggravated assault investigation and police have taken a person of interest into custody.
Investigators believe the suspect targeted the father after an argument ensued between the pair, although it's unclear what the argument was about, and if they knew one another prior to the tiff.

Also included is a clip of a rapper pulling a gun over a fight about Tupac
the guy is fighting for his life with his pants hanging off his butt, a cigarette in his mouth, and a baby in his arms.
He is one lucky guy that the old dude had a decrepit gun.
Old dude is going to get wasted by this guy if he ever gets out of jail
More black-on-black crime in a Democrat-run city with strict gun laws.
Also nice is the fact that Dad is blowing cigarette smoke in his baby’s face.
Classy all around.
Yep...didn’t need to look...again.
I have never even held a gun but I have watched plenty of movies and TV. Seems to me if you are going to go waste a guy you better have that firearm ready when you open the door. Fiddling around with it leaves time for you to get shot in the face
“Casual” is indeed the adjective. The guy who was going to rob the gas station strolls up as casually as if he’s going to go in to purchase a pack of cigarettes. He’s equally casual about pointing the gun at the dude holding a baby. Soulless.
I took it that he was coming after that particular dude but maybe it was just to rob the station and he got met with a dude who wasnt going to take it.
He might have wanted to think twice when seeing the guy with the baby because he looks like the type that could pull a gun out of his pants
nope...he was after the guy
Just resist. Good on dad. That’s one the son will be proud of. Thank you God the idiot’s gun didn’t function somehow.
It's no surprise to anyone who's been paying attention to what's going on in these Democrat controlled urban reservations.
I'd be shocked to find out these type of events stopped.
if the gun jammed he tried to fire it, which would be attempted murder 2 counts!
WHY do they undercharge these animals!
I dont know the mechanics of how a body will fall but seems like if he shot the dad in the head that baby would have been severely injured
That baby survived because of a true miracle and the stupidity of not knowing how to handle a firearm when you are going in to waste someone
At a gas station?
It is a Juneteenth miracle
Michigan is a pre-emptive state, so cities cannot pass any gun laws that are stricter than state law. Michigan is a very gun-friendly state with a shall-issue concealed carry permit law, no magazine bans, and no "assault weapon" bans.
However, all of that said, Detroit is in Wayne County, and it is county clerks that process CPL license applications. Currently, the earliest appointment available for a CPL license application with the Wayne County Clerk is January 30th, 2023.
The Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners is suing the Wayne County Clerk for the CPL processing delays. Most all other counties have same day walk-in CPL processing.
It isn't crime, they're just "keeping it real". Following laws is too white for them.
Exactly
Without minority crime
We’d have little
Mostly blacks and to a lesser degree Amerindian and Afro Latinos
Hey but diversity is strength
Diversity is death
The story is the two had an argument before - so the gun guy was purposely going after the dude.
