We have all seen these protests where leftist agitators fill roadways with demonstrators, blocking cars, and shutting down the streets. But this time, motorists in Rome were not just going to sit idly by and let their lives be disrupted by leftist demonstrators.
How many times have you watched these protests that shut down the roads and wondered why drivers don’t just get out of their cars en masse and start physically draging the screeching demonstrators out of the way?
Well, motorists in Rome did just that this month when members of the extremist climate change group Extinction Rebellion infested the Grande Raccordo Alulare — or simply the “Raccordo” — Rome’s main ring road and one of its busiest, as the U.K. Daily Mail described it.

Too bad we can’t do it stateside.
In the US there is usually an armed antifa in the crowd, ready to threaten - or even shoot - anyone who interferes with the protest.
"The dance between the irate drivers and the disruptive protesters continued for some time until the police finally arrived to prevent the protesters from re-infesting the roadways.
Eventually, the federal police and the city’s special forces branch grabbed up the disruptors and arrested them, the Daily Mail reported."
I keep looking for a video where the idiots blocking traffic get what they deserve.
A little deterrence goes a long way.
Excellent!
The police should do this every time and do it none to gently.
I beleive one state at least passed a law that drivers can hit the gas if they feel threatened by a crowd.
The Sheeple must obey their master’s commands ... and I’ll bet their master wasn’t laying down in the middle of the street.
It was a unique experience.
Wish I knew Italian. I’ll be hanging out with two native born Italians tomorrow evening. I might ask for a translation. 😂
Might want to think about what he's doing. There are more than a couple around that might give "armed antifa" a heapin' helpin' of armed right back at ya.
Gee, it would be a real shame if an armed motorist capped the motherhugger in the back of the head with his own pistol.
That’s exactly what needs doing
But many of the “protests” are organized, such that a few cars or trucks move together on the highway and then slow down and stop, blocking other traffic. Then the protesters leave their stopped vehicles and stand in the road, or sit, or lie down, sometimes with arms linked. So, your mileage might vary (if you’ll pardon the highway pun).
From watching the video (advice for those on this side of the Atlantic), here are some recommendations:
1. Grab the folks documenting the incident first. Relieve them of their recording equipment.
2. Make sure those near the front of the blocked traffic are documenting what will take place next.
3. Inform drivers in front of line to be prepared to run down any armed protestor upon production of a weapon.
4. Disarm any armed participant. Use of force here is acceptable as a means of self-defense.
5. Using rope or jumper cables, remove each ‘protestor’, tying hands to guard rails outside lanes of traffic (handcuff assistance acceptable). Note: once this happens to the first couple, the rest may scatter. This is an acceptable outcome).
6. Check and document any identification found on the law breakers (including tattoos, piercing’s, etc.
7. Photograph each participant; broadcast gathered information on social media.
8. Informed said law breaker their personal information has just been made public.
9. Contact local law enforcement informing them of the debris left on the side of the road.
10. Rinse, repeat.

My first thought was to equip the front bumper of the car with skunk spray, but then I thought...why bother.
Just buy one of those cars they sell in South Africa with a built in flamethrower system...these very people are driving us to that anyway.
Might as well be ahead of the game.
“ In the US there is usually an armed antifa in the crowd, ready to threaten - or even shoot - anyone who interferes with the protest.”
So shoot back.
That would solve more than one problem.
