As I understand the history of gun control laws they started out as restrictions on former slaves having them.
And that is why no one watches or cares about network news reporting.
Reality check …………. If there had been widespread ownership of guns among blacks in North America, South America and the Caribbean in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, Black slavery in these areas could not have existed.
If Ibram Kendi was a horn he could only bleat a single note. And an off key one at that.

I hope his daughter eventually realizes that her father isn’t very bright & writes his own history...like Joe
What an idiot
Someone point out to him that the elite slave owners were democrats who didn’t give two cents about the constitution
People who fight against gun rights are like Hitler’s or Stalin’s or Mao’s willing accomplices to tyranny and mass murder.
This diaper stain is one of the worst. A total hustler. This filthy savage should never speak on the rights of true heritage Americans. He should be deported to his ancestral lands of spears, nose bones, bug eaters and hut dwellings.
No, these are people fighting FOR freedom, and they’re Republicans.
He should move to Liberia.
Nonsense. The slave does not dream of being free. The slave dreams of being MASTER. This "Kendi" creatures' vicious racial bigotry, as expressed in his book, which I have read, damns him for this. Mentally, "Kendi" is still a slave ... and that's entirely his fault.
Anti gun-rights advocates are people who ensure slavery.
Kendi misses an obvious point. The only question in America today that is analogous to the slavery question of the 19th century is abortion.
Is slavery morally right or wrong? By the mid 19th century many were saying it was wrong, in fact so wrong that some believed violent acts against it were justified. See John Brown
On the other hand slavery was perfectly legal in slave states, had long been practiced and was Constitutionally protected.
Is abortion morally right or wrong? In the late 20th and early 21st centuries many are saying it is wrong, in fact so wrong that some believe that violent acts against it are justified.
On the other hand abortion is now perfectly legal in all states and is currently Constitutionally protected.
So, how does Kendi feel about abortion which has taken the lives of so many black babies?
