We see a lot of the hospital helicopters flying low through here too headed to Erlanger or Memorial after a bad accident in I-75 or something.
We also see regular military drills in the area since we are so close to Sequoia, Oak Ridge, Knoxvile, etc. but today was the first in all of the 35 years we have lived here that fighter jets came zipping through the valley just over the treetops.
My unwelcome suspicion is that they are training to attack Russian forces.
Hopefully not in Russian airspace or territory.
