Rep. Dan Crenshaw and his staff were violently confronted at the Republican Party of Texas convention a short time ago, when far-right social media activist Alex Stein and others whom witnesses described as Proud Boys began shouting “eyepatch McCain” at him – an attempted insult coined by Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.
A witness to the incident tells Mediaite that in addition to Stein and others being escorted out of the building, “some arrests” were made at the scene. No photos or video have come out showing any at the time of this post.
“They got physical with multiple people, including hitting them with cameras,” a witness at the scene said. “His campaign manager was assaulted by being pushed aggressively into a pillar.”

Funny, if true. Probably not true. “Eye patch McCain” is hilarious. Probably better than “Zioclops.” He is so right out of central casting it’s even funny.
McCain made a point of using his wartime experience for political gain, even using it to hurt families of missing POWs...he used to hammer everyone over the head with his supposed torture and to equate what Americans did or did not do in Iraq and Afghanistan what what the Vietnamese obviously did do to Americans.
I don’t know if this actually happened, was staged, etc...but, if it did happen they are NOT wrong. This ass clown is a total RINO tool who heavily promoted his service to dupe voters. Reminder, McCain, and Kerry among numerous others did the same. A service record does not necessarily mean a Constitutionalist. Please do not make this mistake.

Having the nickname Eyepatch McCain stick to him pretty much ends Crenshaw’s career as a (neocon-installed) fake conservative.
He’ll now have to spend the rest of his career trying to get out from under that nickname - something which isn’t possible unless he gets rid of that stupid eye patch.
