A 240-meter-long (787 feet) glass bridge with a "diamond-shaped" bar suspended in the center was unveiled at Dashbashi Canyon, located around two hours drive from capital city Tbilisi, in Southern Georgia earlier this week.

Constructed by investment group Kass Group, which operates in Israel and Georgia, the huge transparent structure, which rises to 280 meters (around 919 feet,) stretches across the natural monument, offering panoramic views of its stunning waterfalls and caves.

Made from steel and glass, it took around three years to construct..

It’s truly one of the Seven Wonders of Wisconsin, LOL! You’ve got to be immune to sensory overload if you visit, that’s for sure. I think my fave is the Carousel and the life-sized whale.

My then-fearless boys did the same thing in The Infinity Room, running from one end to the other. That room MOVES in the wind, which is pretty unnerving!

Beau knew the gal who, at one time, was the Financial Manager for the place. It wasn’t unusual for her to have deposits of $400K after a summer weekend!

In my younger years, I started up boilers for a living. One unit in the high desert of Arizona was about 200 feet tall. The floors were metal grating and about 20 feet apart, so you could look down through several floors of grating. I never thought twice about “walking on air” like that. It was also an outdoor unit with no building around the boiler, so you had spectacular views all around of the high desert.

I brought my girlfriend to the job site one day to show her what I did for a living and we rode the elevator to the top floor. The elevator doors opened, she took one look at that floor grating and froze. She would not step out of the elevator and no amount of coaxing could get her to leave the elevator car. We took the elevator back down and she missed all the sights.

I don’t know if my younger daughter remembers the place- she was in a stroller!
Her new husband has never been there. I know he would be blown away by it.

I had a boss like that, one of two brothers that owned the mavhine shop I was working in at the time. We went to IMTS in chicago ( the international machine tool show). A slaesman was taking us out to dinner at sears tower, when the elavator stopped he looked out the windows facing the elevator, saw chicago spread out below us at night, and wouldn’t step off the elevator. we found another restaurant at street level that night. a crazy car driver, but turned out he had a fear of heights. We never kidded him about , because he was hyperventilating until we got back to the ground.
