Hmmmm. No Rope N’ tow?
Next time the Extinction Rebellion activists should be tied to the railing or (better still) rendered unconscious so that they won’t block the road again.
Molto bene
Lol.
Mama mia!
“furious Italian motorists”
As a kid we were stationed in Northern Italy for 2 years in the 60s......I can attest that Italian motorists are ALWAYS furious.
SMH
I saw driving there I’ve never seen in my while life since. LoL!
On a side note, having said all that, I also had food there that has never been equalled either.
I rented that tiny Fiat when I was touristing in Poland. Isn’t much of a car.
Throw the protesters over the Vatican wall 🤪
… dragging the protesters across the tarmac …Somehow I doubt that the road was paved with tarmac and not with asphalt instead.
You guys need some Lions
Just shoot them and clear the road. Nothing of value is lost
It should be legal to drive through them.
I met General Dozier who was held for 42 days by the Red Brigades in Italy. The Italian police raided the place he was held and rescued him. They threw him in a car and drove him 50 miles to their HQ.
He said that ride with adrenaline pumped Italian police was the most terrifying part of the whole ordeal.
Italian drivers don’t like getting screwed with.
I’ll bet more happened after they were dragged away and all cameras were confiscated. So nothing happened...
Love it! What is ‘Extinction Rebellion’? Some kind of leftist global warming cult?
My favorite comment at the link…..
“ get yourself a set of handcuffs online..s ee them drag them to the side and handcuff them to the railings and throw away the key that way they cannot move.. and the traffic will flow”
Romans are very good drivers. One day I saw a boy kick a soccer ball onto the busy, four lane Corso Vittorio Emmanuel II near Chiese Nuovo and not a single car or scooter hit the ball as it slowly bounced across the street. Amazing.
The Raccordo is a small freeway with slow speeds and the unethical, rude sitters were quickly removed. Va bene.
Once upon a time Roman citizens would have solved that problem “cum gladius”...
Perhaps we’ll see such times ourselves...
I think ‘bear strength’ tear gas would be the better answer for motorists. Keep some in your car.
