There’s really no other way to say it: White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is really bad at her job.
You’d think every Biden White House press conference would be a home run because, despite the president being largely incoherent, the press corps is exceedingly friendly to Democrats. Nonetheless, there are no home runs for President Joe Biden’s new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre. It seems everything she says is a swing and a miss.
That’s been the case since Jean-Pierre inherited her post from her predecessor Jen Psaki, who left the White House spin team for the one over at MSNBC. But Monday was particularly bad for Jean-Pierre, who stuttered, lied, and fumbled her way through her massive binder to avoid saying what anyone with eyes knows: Everything is a disaster.
Perhaps most disastrous is the state of the American economy, and when Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked about it, a flustered Jean-Pierre parroted the tired “Putin price hike” defense.
She took the lie one step further and even said we’re seeing a “historic economic boom” thanks to the so-called American Rescue Plan.
“Didn’t it also lead to historic inflation?” Doocy asked, to which Jean-Pierre unconvincingly insisted, “No.”

Affirmative action (Identity politics in hiring) typically produces exactly this outcome. It's NO surprise. And yes, she's just awful. She is a perfect front person for this administration, just awful.

First thing out of her mouth on her new jobs was, “I am a black, lesbian, immigrant.” As if that is something good or a qualification for her jobs. She has difficulty reading the prewritten answers to preapproved questions the press is allowed to ask. I sincerely hope she gets to keep her job. She is the head mouth piece for Democrats. She makes all Democrats look like black lesbian immigrants or lovers thereof.

Why? The overwhelming majority of press folks are unintelligent, incompetent, and grossly ignorant. She and they deserve each other.
That's a real pet peeve of mine. I think that basic task is setting the bar really low, but she fails to clear. Now, granted, some people don't read out loud with any fluency, and that's not a crime. Plenty of jobs (most jobs) do not require you to read out loud.
But her job requires it. She can't think fast on her feet and come up with smooth answers to unexpected questions (Trump had people who could). But she's limited and can't think that fast. So she reads the answers that have been prepared ahead of time. And she absolutely sucks at that. I think she comes across as almost functionally illiterate.
The bar is low, and she fails to clear it.
When you have a good president, it's easy for the Press Secretary to answer questions, even from an angry press mob.
And now, as we see, with a bad president, it's hard for the Press Secretary to answer questions, even when tossed softball question.
Of course, the job is also going to be hard if the Press Secretary is an idiot, only hired to check a few diversity boxes.

Yup K J-P cannot think on her feet. She literally knows nothing. She never had to know anything except her position on the intersectional identity totem pole. Gay, black, immigrant, lesbian gave her a pretty high victim status. Too bad she isn’t a tranny. She would have hit the jack pot.
Embarrassingly incompetent. Psaki must have insisted on naming her so Psaki would look like the Einstein she fancies herself to be to everyone else, too.
In terms of competence, this is obvious.
But of course KJP didn't become WH Press Secretary because she had any competence or that there was an expectation that she would become competent.
KJP is Press Secretary because of her melatonin content and her sexual perversion. Thus KJP is performing well as Press Secretary. Competence (except in committing treason) is irrelevant for members of the ChiComjoe kakistocracy.
She is really pathetic like a deer in the headlights, practically Kamala level. Makes Psaki look intelligent. Makes Kayleigh Macanany look like a genius.
