Just domestic travel open for now

Vax mandate still in effect for international travellers coming TO Canada, but that will probably change shortly - it has to, as the tourist industry cannot survive another summer without customers ...

That assumes Canada's Deep State cares.

FWIW, I wouldn't make that assumption.

and let’s give some credit to the Truckers Convoy, they were the ones who highlighted the issue of the oppressive Vax Mandates!!

Of course, Trudeau returned to Canada & was tested 4 days later. That test showed he had Covid.

International travellers coming to Canada will still be required to show proof of vaccination....

They obviously don’t want my tourist dollars. Before 2020, I made a trip to Canada every fall and would spend at least $2K in a long weekend.

After the Omicron variant overwhelmed the country, opposition members and some experts began to question the effectiveness of the mandate, since Omicron was still transmissible among people considered fully inoculated....

It should be obvious to anyone paying attention that the vaccines are useless against this virus (RNA viruses in general) and are actually dangerous to the health of the public.

The lockdowns have actually been detrimental to the economy and from what I have seen have cost more lives than they have saved (if they saved any at all).

I went to Washington DC on the weekend of the 4th and 5th, with the rapid antigen test still required for entry into the United States and as of this past weekend, it is no longer required. I also had to use the ArriveCan app to notify of my coming back to Canada last Saturday morning, so you show that receipt along with your passport. I did this previously in December when going to and from my US mailing address in Ogdensburg, NY.

Once again, Trump’s vaccines are proving to be the greatest Troll in the history of mankind.

I still see way too many girly men wearing masks while flying and taking Amtrak in the US - it’s a minority but still too many.

A man who wears a dirty cloth mask because of the flu that is COVID makes breakfast for his wife’s boyfriend.

We used to go up every summer to visit my husband’s extended family - not sure if we will go again anytime soon.

Here in Michigan we keep seeing the “come visit your neighbour, Ontario” ads. I wouldn’t visit Canada after Trudeau’s dictatorship took away freedoms even if it was an all expense paid extravaganza.

We honeymooned in Ontario, it was great, but never visiting again.

Yesterday there was an article describing how a massive number of Liberal MPs were incensed about the domestic restrictions.

This is nothing but a capitulation by Justine. He knows if he loses his backbenchers there might be a vote of no confidence that he wouldn’t survive.

With Jagmeet dropping his pants and saying that he’ll do Justine’s bidding ‘til 2025, the gov’t doesn’t want to do anything that will interrupt that sweet arrangement.

Both the Liberals and the NDP would lose in a landslide.

We live about two hours south of Vancouver BC. Will be a long, long time until we head that far north again. If ever.
