Thread from 22-year-old detrans man about transitioning as a teenager (and the dangers of doing so) a heartbreaking must-read

This is another one of those threads where we feel like the writer themselves has done a far better job than we ever could so we’ll leave the writing up to them.

Too late, we know, we’re already writing but still …

Jaden is a 22-year-old detrans male who shared his story about transitioning as a teenager, puberty blockers, and more.

Take a look:

Hello, my name is Jaden. I’m a 22 year old detrans male and former puberty blocked individual who socially, hormonally, and surgically transitioned as a teenager.

Recently, I had the pleasure of watching the documentary ‘What Is A Woman?’ and I wanted to share my thoughts. 🧵

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

The interview that particularly caught my attention was when political commentator, Matt Walsh interviewed Dr. Michelle Forcier, a physician who routinely treats trans youth. https://t.co/fQbOnBAVyh

Forcier is a big proponent for “affirmative” healthcare and pubertal blockers.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Blue hair.

Of course.

Forcier admits affirmation therapy begins “whenever the patient is ready for it” – it’s no secret trans care is handled anecdotally but it’s unnerving to hear a medical professional talk about something so intimate & serious as transitioning in an inconsistent, nonchalant manner.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Though, what I took issue with was the fact she claims puberty blockers are “completely reversible and don’t have permanent effects.” This ever increasingly common narrative is a fallacy, with medical data, lawsuits, and personal reported experiences directly contradicting it. pic.twitter.com/SyPaHYsQF0

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

You’d think a so-called medical professional would actually care about the data but we suppose she has a narrative to sell and the data doesn’t help.

As someone who took these medications as a teenager, I’ve contended with many of the effects reported. At age 16, I was prescribed spironolactone (a common T blocker). For nearly a year, I’d struggle as I’d continue to take the medication but have consistently high T levels.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Stumped by my labs, my PCP referred me to his colleague, an OBGYN who within the first few months of treating me swapped my T blockers for a GnRH agonist implant known as Histrelin.

In the coming years, I’d experience physical, mental, and sexual changes I never could imagine.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Heartbreaking.

A teenager.

In my anecdotal experience, blockers were more intense than when I was only taking anti androgens. Having T rapidly and permanently blocked for the first time led me to developing muscular atrophy, metabolic issues, & bone density concerns.

Physical issues that still affect me.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Muscular atrophy, metabolic issues, and bone density concerns.

The lack of physical development and sexual maturation I experienced is irreversible, even when taking testosterone replacement therapy. The fetility issues, and eventual decimation of my fertility altogether, will never be rebounded – in fact the Mayo Clinic even warns of this. pic.twitter.com/WiTEKIW5Kb

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Never rebound.

Sounds pretty damn permanent to us.

Not to mention this direction inevitably led me on the path of cross-sex hormones, and there were issues that were only exasperated with the induction of estrogen. After starting E injections, I started also dealing with vascular issues and what is likely nerve damage in my legs.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

But you know, they’re perfectly safe and stuff.

I noticed within the first weeks of taking blockers a total loss of libido, which was expected. What I didn’t expect was facing anorgasmia, a side effect my doctor failed to warn me of. It wouldn’t be until years later, after demanding the implant be removed, I’d experience one.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

I also started feeling as if I wasn’t equipped to handle my emotions, as I felt them much more intensely than I had previously. I had started dealing with brain fog, memory issues, trouble concentrating, and depression. These issues unfortunately led me to dropping out of school.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

To hear medical professionals insist a drug that’s harmed myself and others, is “completely reversible and doesn’t have permanent effects” is frustrating, and saddening.

It’s disturbing how doctors willfully spread misinformation to coop a movement, and pathologize GNC youth.

— J🦎 (@detransguy) June 11, 2022

Frustrating.

Saddening.

Unacceptable.

Some might even say evil.

Mental illness or demon possession.

Sadly, these regrets likely happen far more often than we’re allowed to hear.

Impossible to read - I don’t even know if we’re talking about a female or a male here - I don’t even know what a “detrans” is. And you know what - I don’t care - I’ll just move on to something that makes sense - wherever that is!

"Wish I could format this as well as E.Pluribus Unum. Read at Twitchy to read perfectly formatted." Twitter and FB are simply not proper for posting much of anything substantive, nor for copying and pasting what bits and pieces it scatters about. But at least there is this snip:

Now here is some qualified medical judgment:

Johns Hopkins Psychiatrist: Transgender is ‘Mental Disorder;' Sex Change ‘Biologically Impossible’

Dr. McHugh, the author of six books and at least 125 peer-reviewed medical articles, made his remarks in a recent commentary in the Wall Street Journal, where he explained that transgender surgery is not the solution for people who suffer a “disorder of ‘assumption’” – the notion that their maleness or femaleness is different than what nature assigned to them biologically.

He also reported on a new study showing that the suicide rate among transgendered people who had reassignment surgery is 20 times higher than the suicide rate among non-transgender people. Dr. McHugh further noted studies from Vanderbilt University and London’s Portman Clinic of children who had expressed transgender feelings but for whom, over time, 70%-80% “spontaneously lost those feelings.”

While the Obama administration, Hollywood, and major media such as Time magazine promote transgenderism as normal, said Dr. McHugh, these “policy makers and the media are doing no favors either to the public or the transgendered by treating their confusions as a right in need of defending rather than as a mental disorder that deserves understanding, treatment and prevention.”

“This intensely felt sense of being transgendered constitutes a mental disorder in two respects. The first is that the idea of sex misalignment is simply mistaken – it does not correspond with physical reality. The second is that it can lead to grim psychological outcomes.”

The transgendered person’s disorder, said Dr. McHugh, is in the person’s “assumption” that they are different than the physical reality of their body, their maleness or femaleness, as assigned by nature. It is a disorder similar to a “dangerously thin” person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are “overweight,” said McHugh.

This assumption, that one’s gender is only in the mind regardless of anatomical reality, has led some transgendered people to push for social acceptance and affirmation of their own subjective “personal truth,” said Dr. McHugh. As a result, some states – California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts – have passed laws barring psychiatrists, “even with parental permission, from striving to restore natural gender feelings to a transgender minor,” he said.

The pro-transgender advocates do not want to know, said McHugh, that studies show between 70% and 80% of children who express transgender feelings “spontaneously lose those feelings” over time. Also, for those who had sexual reassignment surgery, most said they were “satisfied” with the operation “but their subsequent psycho-social adjustments were no better than those who didn’t have the surgery.”

It should. This is not an isolated case. This is a large portion of the future our of civilization. Infertile.

Many of our young man are being made infertile, while we are simultaneously being invaded by young, horny Third World migrants.

The future of the West does not look bright.

Mohammed Oz, running for the Pennsylvania senate, is perfectly OK with this. He wants to see more children go Trans. In Islamic countries, it is common to have sex with children, many as young as 6 years old. Mohammed Oz encourages this behavior.

For the Pennsylvania senate, we must vote third party. Under no circumstances can we let Oz become a US senator.

The primary point, for me, is puberty blockers, which doctors give to kids who want to be the opposite sex, stops the child from going through puberty. Biden and his Admin said they are perfectly safe and Jaden talked about all the harm they caused him. I know puberty blockers knock 8 points off the pill takers IQ, and they cause osteoporosis. Jaden watched Matt Walsh’s film, “What is a Woman,” which he liked. Trans activists are really mad about this film.
Truth be told, the fake woman AKA transgendet woman swimmer has turned lots of people into reality supporters.

The first thing is to admit that it is not possible to “transition” from male to female or vice versa. Then we may be on to a solution.

It’s going to take a whole bunch of these to put a stop to this nonsense. Lawsuits should be flying against those who do the indoctrinating. How much are people willing to put up with? No sympathy for any of them (doer or doee) from this quarter!

Look at the big picture. Whether OZ believes as you write or not third party voting is foolish in the extreme, an exercise in cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face. A demonrat will win and do much more evil than OZ.
OZ is a Hollywood type, coming from a more liberal universe, not a stellar choice but he’s the best that surfaced this time in PA. He had trans people on his show because that drove viewership. In hindsight very wrong to give a platform to people maiming & blighting their kids, at the time a business decision. His position protects women and argues against transpeople being treated as women in sports. Oz favors U.S. energy independence and unleashing Pennsylvania’s natural energy abundance.

“Dr. Mehmet Oz, the celebrity physician turned Republican Senate candidate, last week said transgender female athletes shouldn’t be able to compete on women’s sports team because they have an unfair advantage, according to the gossip website Radar Online.
In a transcript of audio remarks reportedly made by Oz that were obtained by Radar Online, Oz, a registered Republican candidate, said he’s empathetic toward transgender adults, whose rates of suicide attempts are much higher than those of non-transgender adults.

“But then you layer on top of that changes to our society that hurt other people in an effort to protect one group of people, and that’s not fair. That’s not fair,” he reportedly said.”

Oz, for his part, has no problem with medical marijuana but opposes legalizing pot for recreational use. Oz says he never tried marijuana himself, adding that as a doctor, he did not want to be impaired and unable to help his patients because he had gotten high.

“I have strong sentiments against the legalization of marijuana because we already have a problem with getting young people to work,” he said. “And if you build a psychological addiction, right, that tells people you can’t get through the day unless you smoke a joint, which is what Fetterman is saying is okay, we’re going to have even fewer people engaged in life and they lose their dignity when that happens.”

And, Oz spoke out against teaching young children about gender nonconformity.

“I’ve covered the topic of my show, 80 to 85 percent of kids who say they are transgender will naturally, if they’re not influenced, go back to their biological gender,” Oz said. “But if you change that natural history, if you place ideas in a 5-year-old kindergarten kid’s mind, then you’re going to mess with their mind. You’re not letting them do what kids have done throughout society. Once in a while, Johnny walks in mom’s shoes. It doesn’t mean anything. Love the child, embrace them, let them be who they need to be. And over time they work it out. If you interfere with that process, you hurt people.”

I see your point and you’re right. However, I believe what Night was addressing is the idea we should feel sympathy for someone whose primary concern is whether he can achieve orgasm.

This fellow appears to have learned nothing at all from his atrocious experience.
