Hollywood is the wokest place on earth in every other area of social responsibility, but when it comes to the unbridled romanticization of gun violence – crickets.
There are so many movies that are gunmurders it’s ridiculous. Hollywood loves guns.
Maher is making more sense these days, slowly but surely. Yeah, I know he’s a jerk. But he’s reaching folks that otherwise wouldn’t be reached.
I hope to see more of his comments here on Free Republic. It’s good ammunition when trying to win over an open-minded liberal. “Even Bill Maher says...”.
Hollywood is using Biden’s and other democrats scam he condemns big businesses while he makes the wealthier.
Gives them a heads up call I’m going to bad mouth you people so it sounds good for me check.
What percentage of promotional posters for Hollywood films prominently feature someone brandishing a firearm or major weapon? It must be over 90%. Hollywood uses violence to make money, period, and by doing s make hyper-violence seem normal and glamorous. Good on Maher to call it out.
Here are 2 movie trailers and it is non stop killing.

I really hate it when Maher is brilliant. Especially after he’s so hard on Trump that I turned the show off before the amazing parts.
Damn.
Revenge plots were NOT a part of the culture that built the United States. Far from it - but it is a part of the current political culture. Down to and including some foreign revenge mistakes that could turn and bite us.
He’s just had enough of the 35 percent bullying the 65 percent.
Revenge was certainly part of the Latin culture of Renaissance Italy. Vendettas etc. And in the U.S. there was the Hatfield–McCoy feud.
