If it’s “illegal” then people there have been committing crimes, which means that they should be arrested and criminally charged, and then sentenced and incarcerated.
Let's face it. If it's time to start worryin' about them "knowing" whatchya have,
it's prolly gettin nigh on time ta start puttin'em ta use.
At this point, I don’t trust any government agency to obey the law.
Everything I lost in that boating incident was “illegal”; old purchases, family hand-me-downs, gifts from relatives, all dragged from State to State with no documentation.
And frankly, Scarlett, I don’t give a damn.
As I say... Boating incident. I don’t talk about it.
Still traumatized, I s’pose.
Gun owners f’ked up DECADES ago after the 1934 debacle thinking capitulating to a bit of FedGov infringement wouldn’t be a slippery slope to this present darkness. “OH, but ya see, we’re gonna comply so as to demonstrate that we’re upstanding, responsible citizens, and that’ll put the cork in it.”
Right. Don’t piss on my head and tell me it’s raining.
I ‘s born young; not yesterday.
They are running about fourteen months behind in the digitizing effort.
Every FFL who goes out of business is required to turn in all form 4473’s less than twenty years old to BATFE.
The hair-splitting pretext of legality is that these records are “Not searchable, not shared”.
With the ongoing effort to put as many FFL’s as possible out of business ASAP this database keeps growing and becoming more current.
If you think this data will not become searchable and shared, probably soon, I have some ocean front property for you in Nevada.
Jokes on them. I had a boating accident recently.
This reinforces the fact the 2nd Amendment was to protect us from tyranny of government as much as for self protection.
”My stars and garters!! Corruption in government!!”
