I also think a good revolver with at least 4 in. Barrel is just a blast to shoot. A .357 snubby- not so much.

My bed side gun is 1968 vintage 4 inch Colt Trooper in 38 Special. Very accurate without excessive recoil.

I own several revolvers. Two of them, a S&W 19-4 4"bbl, and a Dan Wesson 715, are the two most valuable handguns in my collection.

I still prefer my semi-automatics to my revolvers both for carry and for plinking.

Well, Diana DeGette (Pat Schroeder Jr.) says once the cylinder is empty, you have to throw it away.

My Taurus 942 WMR 3” barrel 8 shot revolver is just fine for me. 100 rounds is $40 and the 22 magnum packs a surprisingly powerful pop. Still...I like a Springfield XD 45 more just not as light and tight on the hip and more $/round.

Another reason to consider revolvers. If you have age or chemo nerve damage, arthritis, or modest weakness, semi-auto pistols are tougher to operate compared to a straight forward revolver.

My Kimber K6S 4” Combat is totally natural in my hand.

I liked slow to load single action firearms. That is, until the 1968 riots. Then I bought a 12 shot Browning Hi-Power. Wish I still had it.

Carry one of these and you won't need more than 5 rounds. Even if you are attacked by a mob.

I’m not endangering my life by carrying around one of those museum pieces. Five or six rounds and you’re out of the fight. And you’re not going to reload before the fight is over. I’ll take my Glock 23 any day of the week. That gives me 14 rounds to neutralize any threats before I have to reload. And swapping out magazines is much easier and faster than reloading a wheel gun.
