A .357 snubby- not so much. If I can't run fast enough that an assailant gets close enough to make me have to draw, .38SPL hollow points will probably work just fine.

Have you ever shot a Ruger Alaskan? Shooting a major caliber revolver with a 2.5” barrel is quite the experience.
