This gives Pussy Riot new meaning.
A man discovered a lonely kitten on the side of the road — only to have a pack of tiny cats emerge from the brush.
In a now-viral clip, the lone baby feline meows at the man where the grass meets gravel — but in the next minute, Louisiana’s Robert Brantley is ambushed by a stampede of meowing kittens.
“Oh, my gosh!” he exclaims in the video, which shows a seemingly never-ending kitten rampage. “I can’t take ya’ll. Oh, my gosh.”
One by one, the little kitties sprang from the tall grass that towered over their small bodies, running in circles around his feet.
“There’s more — we got a kitten problem,” Brantley says in the video, clearly shocked. “I thought I was saving one. Hot diggity dog.”
The 37-year-old Brantley was driving along and just happened to see what he thought was a kitten on the side of the road. After he continued on, he let the thought of the cat “marinate,” eventually deciding to turn around and rescue it before the rest of the pack suddenly surprised him.
“They’re all here at the house; they’re all doing good,” he told The Post of all 13 kittens he discovered. “The first time I fed them, they fought like they had never eaten a bite of food before.”
He speculated that someone probably had these kittens in their house and threw them out since he couldn’t find their mama.
While he can’t keep the entire baker’s dozen, he plans to keep at least two or three for his family, including one kitten on which his 1-year-old son fixated.
“They’re obsessed with each other,” he said. As far as the rest, gracious neighbors have offered to adopt them.

LOL! I think the poem is actually saying that Susan DOESN’T love him :-)
*animal video/article ping*
If you want on or off this list, please let me know.
(note this is now simply “animal video” ping, since I feature more than just kittens)
Awww what a sweet story!!
There's a family with a Youtube channel that features their cat that loves the beach and swimming in the ocean with their two dogs and riding on a surfboard and in their boat.
Thank goodness I was only ambushed by 2 kittens this past December at 4:30 in the morning at my barn.
Now their grown and living the dream in my house.
That is a collective term for three or more cats in general, while kindle is kitten-specific. For a behavior-based collective, a glaring is a clowder uneasy with each other. Sadly, I could not find the origin for a pounce of cats, but it seems to be a good description for a group of playful felines.
If any of the previous groups are feral, they qualify as a destruction, but would that not be a great term for the current majority in Congress?
Our clowder frequently becomes a glaring.
(I need more squirt-bottles, so I don’t have to keep carrying the one from room to room.)
Awww.... thanks for posting. :-)
“a glaring is a clowder uneasy with each other”
That describes out little colony of indoor cats. One of them has never been really accepted after we rescued her. Wish I knew cat psychology so as to smooth things out.
We just adopted two kidgets.13 is a chunk
I was talking to my sister yesterday evening, and remembered to tell her about the kitten stampede. She websearched it, found an article and started watching it. My cat lady sister loved it! She found the kitteh rescuer’s Instagram page, with lots of rescued kitteh videos: Robert Brantley_.
The video went viral, so people everywhere were offering to adopt them.
The kitten rescuer, Robert Brantley, has an Instagram page. My sister said he had lots of videos of the rescued kittens.
Such a great video/story.....so nice to see kind hearted people for awhile.
