RIP....summer breeze is one of the all time great songs. Yep. A song that instantly takes me back to the 70's and reminds me of what I liked about those years.

“Summer Breeze”, great song. Can’t picture trips to the beach in the ‘70s without it blasting from someone’s portable radio.
RIP.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire. Or both.)

I take it you’re being sarcastic?

Yes, you will definitely hear some Seals and Croft songs on Yacht Rock radio.
Yacht Rock is a subgenre of soft rock, the type of music that sounds good as you are reclined on the deck of your yacht with a bucket of iced White Claws next to you. Can life possibly get any better than that?
Steely Dan is my favorite Yacht Rock band, followed closely by Toto.

No. Jim Seals owed the world an apology and atonement to the Lord for “Summer Breeze”.

Nope. But you should atone for your poor taste in music and crapping on his obit thread. Stay classy.

Not meaning to beat this horse to death, but I don’t get where there’s anything in the lyrics that would be offensive to the Lord, nor anyone for that matter, for which Seals should have atoned for. Maybe you can enlighten us mere mortals.

There are some songs that would be considered torture: Anything from ‘The Chipmunks’, ‘Barney’ the dinosaur, and a lot of stuff from any combination of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. ‘Summer Breeze’ is one of them.

Paul Anka also took some heat for
You're Having my Baby that too had an anti abortion overtone "🎶you could've swept it from your life but you wouldn't do it🎶. Libs still get bent out of shape over that
