Not meaning to beat this horse to death, but I don’t get where there’s anything in the lyrics that would be offensive to the Lord, nor anyone for that matter, for which Seals should have atoned for. Maybe you can enlighten us mere mortals.
There are some songs that would be considered torture: Anything from ‘The Chipmunks’, ‘Barney’ the dinosaur, and a lot of stuff from any combination of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. ‘Summer Breeze’ is one of them.
