There have been many! Really simple math.

Assuming a 100 kwhr battery and 12 cents per kwhr equala $12.

Typically that would be 3 cents per mile.

OTOH, assuming 25 mpg and $4.86 gas equals 19 cents per mile.

Supercharger stations run 2 to 3 times higher than home charging.

So, 12 cents per mile is if you can charge it at home?

And how do they calculate the cost of the time it takes to charge them, especially if you have to drive to a charging station? Upkeep? Repairs?
