Are they afraid to call it “ speech”?
The best way for the social media companies to fight this is with “bs overload”. That is, send the watchdog every single thing posted, as “possibly hateful conduct”.
It is called “malicious compliance”.
If several high volume companies do this, there is no way for the Nasty Nellies and the Pinch Lipped Censors to do anything. And if they tell these companies to cut it out, that is an exemption they can run with.
I’d send them the whole feed and tell them to sort through it themselves.
All of the content is potentially hateful, and better to err on the side of overinclusive production.

3xactly. The left have already tried this “report on others” deal, and their websites were overwhelmed with false reports, many reporting things that the left said, so,the left too, does their “rat on others” reporting websites.
What if the “social media network” (whatever that means) fails to “monitor and report ‘hateful conduct’ on their platforms”?
Will they be prosecuted? Be made to pay a fine?

What hateful conduct will be reported will be done very selectively. It will still be okay to hate and threaten conservatives, Christians, gun owners and white males. However, all criticism of trannies, gays, liberals and radical leftists will not be tolerated and will be sanctioned. How do I know? It’s what they do.
