It may not work with a fake President (Biden) or someone much more ideological than Clinton (i.e. Harris).

I doubt it. Biden is too obviously impaired & everyone hates Kamala. It won’t take much to beat them, assuming the fraud issue is addressed.

Yup. The media will blame the GOP when it takes the house and senate in November on the currently unfolding recession that dopey Joe’s handlers are creating - purposely, mind you.

It worked for B.J. Clinton

The only thing Biden and Clinton have in common is their profiting off their offices and being corrupt.

I remember Di Fi as SF mayor. She was very even-handed in a city full of whackos.

The 1994 elections righted Clinton’s ship. Reagans tax cuts were still paying off so BJ got credit. Talk about luck. BJ didn’t have to worry about the AOC’s out there. Ask Sister Soulja.

It could be argued that a GOP congress could aid the democrats by simply doing nothing once they are in, which is something they’re good at.

Uh...NO!

We will have safeguards against the most serious vote fraud.

The Dem policies will be extremely damaging and media complicity won't be able to cover for it.

The Dems have nobody to run at the top of the ticket who can win an honest election.

I doubt the comparison. Politically it’s a different world than it was in the 90’s. The policy issues of 1996 were modest compared to the critical issues today.

They've perfected the art of the steal, have media to cover and judicial on the payroll also.

Should be actively pursuing ways of taking power away from these thieves and corporate whores.

...but that could get ugly.

As history shows...that is often the case.

Dealing with cancer is never easy.

Saved Obamalamadingdong also. Gridlock stopped him from doing anymore harm.

In Clinton case the Internet Revolution saved him, in Obama’s case it was the Fracking Revolution.

There will be no EV Revolution or anything else to save Joe Biden

Absolutely. If the GOPe/do-nothings act the same as they did the last two times in the majority they will get tossed out as fast as they came in. 2024 is wide open.

The days of picking the lesser of two evils is over.

Lewinsky scandal was revealed in 1998. The affair started in 1995. Doubt the voters would have been re-elected Clinton in 1996 if the public found out about it prior to the election.

Clinton changed his policies with the Reps taking over the House in 1995 after 40 years of Dem control. Triangulation. Clinton signed welfare reform and declared that the era of big government is over. Reps held the House until 2007. Bush 43 won in 2000.

Rep control of the House in 2023 will not help the Dems in 2024. Let the investigations begin in 2023.

There’s a huge difference between then 48-year-old “Clintoon” and now 80-year-old Dementia Joe. The former was a smart, slick opportunist. He made a beeline to the middle when the Dems got walloped in ‘94. Dementia Joe has no ability to process information. He’s a puppet. His handlers are leftist ideologues. There’s little possibility of a shift to the middle.

Absolutely.

The only thing the people hate worse than Democrats is Republicans.

Since both parties are locked in against doing anything to benefit our people, if the GOP takes over Congress and does nothing to reverse the disastrous economic policies both parties adore equally, then the Democrats will be in a good place for 2024.

It is a feature of our captive political system that both parties, in power, are guaranteed to fail. The masters of the system remain in place using sophisticated techniques to get real Americans hating each other instead of finding the masters and getting rid of them.

Maybe, but probably not

The truth is that Republican control will not produce much real change. There is the Biden veto. America will be run by executive orders and the courts

Since there is no real senate capable of passing anything with 60 votes, the Democrats can’t pass anything now.

The House pretends to be relevant by passing special interest bills that are just dressed up press releases.

It will be possible for Republicans to pass very carefully crafted money legislation to curtail some programs. Maybe

Until one party or the other can have a solid 60 vote Senate majority, nothing much is going to change

Grid lock........ the market’s favorite condition

I will give the media a plausible villain to blame for the impending economic crash. Otherwise, they have to keep trying to blame Trump, but fewer and fewer will fall for that.

The whole theater of the past decade seems to be about McConnell and the leadership trying to get out of power as much as possible before the collapse happens, and Trump was screwing that plan up.
