With new information from testimony in the Sussmann trial and the demise of the Russian Collusion narrative, it’s time for a new look at the untimely death of Seth Rich.
Who is Seth Rich, and why was he murdered? Many media outlets ignored this unsolved murder in D.C. in July 2016. Those who wrote about this suspicious death were dismissed as conspiracy theorists. Jack Cashill wrote the best summary of Rich’s murder:

Many watched the Kabuki Theater of the Deep State unfold over many years with a very jaundiced eye.

This thumb drive was then handled directly to a WikiLeaks operative. Julian Assange continues to deny he received the DNC files from the Russians. There is no doubt the Russians, the North Koreans, and the Chinese, and other intel agencies were in Hillary Clinton's homebrew server. And yet we were assured with high confidence by our intel agencies Russians [sic] operatives did the DNC hack.

Maybe(I do not know) the Rich’s have other children that they wanted to stay alive. To me that would seem to be the most logical pressure that could be applied.
Seth is gone. It would be a shame if something happened to your other kids.
DC had that shot-alerter system active at the time....sent a location to cops...shots heard at 4:20 AM. Cops ‘claim’ they were there within 1 min (I’ve had doubts about this, but this was the Bloomingdale District).
At the time, he was still alive. Two shots in the back. He was dead about 90 min later.
In case you were wondering...the bar in question was 1.8 miles away, which he left around 1:45 (no one much argues that point). What he did while walking 1.8 miles from 1:45 to 4:20? That’d be an interesting question to ask.
Some folks have claimed that he was mildly drunk and might have walked a mile in the wrong direction then corrected himself. No proof of that.
The strangest thing is that whenever anyone tries to investigate this the Rich family starts to bitch and moan that they don’t want their sons murder solved.

Hmmm. But a nearly three-hour walk in the wee hours before his death, the valuables left untouched on his body, a surveillance tape that Rich’s family says gives a glimpse of his possible killers’ legs but that police have yet to show to the parents or to the public.

Seth Rich’s family wasn’t the first to have a family member die and feel the influence of a powerful Democrat politician and the Democrat party. In 1969 Mary Joe Kopechne’s body was quickly flown out of Massachussets, and buried, without the required official autopsy. An attempt was made by a Massachussets District Attorney, in charge of an inquest, to have the body exhumed for a full autopsy, but is was opposed by the family. A county judge turned down the request for autopsy. The New York Times announced in 1974 a “financial settlement” had been reached between the parents of Mary Joe Kopechne and Senator Edward Kennedy. Terms of the payoff were not announced. Six years later, in 1980, Senator Kennedy declared his candidacy for president.

Assange has been isolated for years, and at last look, was arrested and incarcerated in the UK. Various charges have been levied against him, from the initial “rape” charge that never added up, to espionage for publishing leaked communications that embarrassed the US government. (Some of it might have compromised intel operatives and sources, so Assange is likely not entirely innocent).
I’ve never understood why the FBI or even the DC Metro Police couldn’t arrange to interview a man holed up in the Ecuador Embassy or a prisoner held in a UK jail. It’s almost as if no one wants to ask Assange about Seth Rich...
Assange is considered a loose end. He’s extradited to be Epsteined. Period.
It’s been assumed that Seth Rich was a disgruntled Bernie Bro with a grievance against Clinton, but nobody has brought forward evidence to back it up. If the family talked to him before he died and got the impression that he wasn’t dissatisfied with his job or with Clinton, then it wouldn’t be surprising if they didn’t listen to people coming after them with conspiracy theories, who might not be the kind of people you want bothering you when you lose a loved one.
Wikileaks is based on anonymity, if they reveal their sources, nobody would leak to them. If Assange is hinting that Seth Rich was the source, that doesn’t mean that Rich was the source. It could well mean that he definitely wasn’t.
Julian Assange has implied that he was the leaker and the “hack” download time implies that it was a directly connected device. That does not mean that it was him, but the lack of DC police investigation is also suspicious.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ brother, Steven Wasserman, is the Assistant US Attorney at the Attorney’s office for the District of Columbia. Questions are arising whether Steven has played a part in burying the Seth Rich case in DC.
It is like the Mary Jo Kopechne story.
So who was the surgeon? Was he related to Podesta? I think there was some connection but now I don’t remember.
I had read at the time he was scheduled to talk to the FBI the next day.
