Frigging Democrat concept of “Gun free zones” is the problem.
Get rid of those policies and we would not have to “militarize” the government schools.
We could spend $1500 and get doors that close and lock.

Every law abiding citizen should be issued a concealable firearm and trained in how to use it. I like it when liberals’ eyes go wide when I say that, but the latest shooter wouldn’t dare attempt what he did if not for the gun free zones. But if he did, he would have been taken out in the first few seconds instead of an hour and a half.
What idiot decided that sticking “active” in the sentence made it more weighty?
This one is about the Faster Program which will work some but has two very bad problems that stop it.
First, I’m willing to bet that there isn’t a 100 schools (boards) that will allow an armed instructor on campus. It’s hard enough getting a police officer stationed in the school as it is. So what is taking place here is arming a little trained volunteer with good intentions and a whole lot less training to handle an active shooter without going through him/her or missing him/her entirely striking a child. And as two of the three persons effected here are student or teacher, then the odds at getting the wish accomplished is against them. And if the teacher goes after the gun, or even looks like they might be, they will be dead immediately. You might as well arm the students as well so someone can cap him from where he isn’t looking.
Secondly, Then we will hear from CNN about gun removal this time eliminating any gun from the campus. That’s what this is leading up to. And it’s a step into the removal of civilian owned guns.
They already have enough legislation in the works and they can add more, but it will accomplish nothing without infringing gun ownership. And that’s the real intent.

Maybe start by locking the damn door, so any random homeless bum, chomo, shooter, dope dealer, or Biden can’t just shuffle on in and f**k with the kids? Just start with something simple. Something just about every office workplace does. Lock the door.
Our Maryland county offers a program similar to this open to the public with pre-registration. They teach things you wouldn't ordinarily imagine, particularly with regard to wound care. It's a good idea for businesses and churches to send some people to take this training.
The Red Cross and especially Schools and all major Public Buildings should have augmented first aid kits that include things to address sever injuries. Those medical supplies can also be used when building collapse during earthquakes, storms, etc.
