This is the 64 year-old New York City 'tenant from hell' who has made her neighbors' lives a misery while running up $40,000 in rent arrears.
Annamarie Hosang, 64, has been exclusively pictured by DailyMail.com after her antisocial antics at the building in the Rockaway Beach neighborhood where she lives were revealed by the New York Daily News.
Hosang stopped paying her $1,750-a-month rent in April 2020, with landlord Mathew Hanan saying he's at his wit's end trying to evict her.
Meanwhile, Hosang has flooded her apartment and left the unit below uninhabitable. She's held an indoor barbecue, trashed her kitchen and hallway, blared loud music for 20 hours a day and deliberately rung neighbors' doorbells to frighten them it is claimed.
Hosang also stands accused of threatening her neighbors with a shovel and fire extinguisher when they tried to stand-up to her.
The nightmare neighbor has been able to avoid eviction thanks to a COVID relief program aimed at preventing workers who'd lost their jobs from being evicted.
Hanan says the city's liberal system has failed him badly, with Hosang's neighbors too frightened of her to file charges against her with the NYPD, after cops showed zero interest in tackling her appalling behavior.
'My biggest problem is with the courts. As destructive as she is, it just angers me so much that the courts would let this happen,' he told DailyMail.com. 'In my predicament, they allow this to continue.'
On one occasion, Honan allegedly chased a female tenant with a shovel during an argument.
'It got to the point where she was following me to my job site, where I was working,' the threatened tenant's husband told the Daily News.

One of the reasons rent is so high in NY...lousy tenants who know how to play the system. And, the property owners are all viewed as money-grubbing slum lords, regardless of their actual status.
My suggestion is to hire some bikers to evict this assclown. But, that’s just me.
I must say, being a landlord in a blue city was never on my list of career choices.

Wow, even New Yorkers ain’t as tough as they used to be. Back in the day, someone would have given this lady an attitude adjustment.
It’s too bad the Mafia doesn’t run NYC anymore.
All the landlord would have to do is go to the Godfather, get on bended knee, and ask for a “favor”. Problem solved.
This doesn’t seem to be one of those things where each of her neighbors’ expectations are unrealistic to the extent that they want to feel as though they are living in a house and that it is their house, where they wouldn’t necessarily have to be so mindful of the proximities of others who’ve signed and dated the same rental lease documents with the same terms and conditions. No, these neighbors seem to have very realistic expectations unless there is more to the story that could she more light on the situation.
Or maybe Namcy Pelosi would love to have her on staff?

Still, you have to wonder where the limit is before this kind of 'learned behavior' gets beyond the tenant protections for which NYC is infamous.
Of course, wasn't there this gent, Jimmy MacMillan, the face of the single-issue political party, 'The Rent Is 2 Damn High Party' in NYC? As I recall, he got publicity and votes in several elections there.
I used to fly to NY all the time - sometimes we would get into Teterboro at 2 am and have to got to NYC to be in position to fly out the next morning. It was amazing to go to an all night diner, the streets filled with people and energy - absolutely incredible!
No more. The democrats one goal is to destroy everything so that they can rise and rule us all.

Good suggestion. That’s the new york way. The landlords problem is that he’s trying to evict this tenant legally, by the book.
The landlords other problem is that he’s a property owner in New york to begin with.
Don’t be a property owner, especially a landlord of multiple housing dwellings in New york. You’ll only get screwed over by the state.
What’s worse, Annamarie Hosang probably votes Demonicrat whether she ever sees a ballot or not.
Back in the late ‘80s I spent a few months in Holyoke, MA. Apartment buildings were burning down because people were roasting pigs and chickens on a spits over fires in bathtubs.
Indoor barbecues. Crazy.
