There are many factors that enter into any war, and the longer the war continues, the more chance for new developments.
Clearly so far everyone has gotten less than they wanted.
Russia fears Western intervention. So far they’ve prevented direct NATO involvement, but have to deal with a lot of Western military aid and limited sanctions.
Ukraine has survived so far but at terrible losses.
Russia is gaining ground and inflicting losses, but not the quick war they wanted and at terrible loss.
So unless and until Russia achieves an ultimate knock out punch, we can’t predict which way the next winds of war will blow.
SERVANT OF THE CORRUPT

ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRESIDENT ZELENSKY, OLIGARCH IHOR KOLOMOISKY AND WASHINGTON DC
[Really outstanding analysis and history of Ukrainian mega-corruption, aided and abetted by a corrupt U.S. State Dept and intel agencies.]

Wait I thought the Ukraine’s were crushing it. That’s what I’ve been told over and over again in the media.
And, just how many billions have we poured into Ukraine? And not just cash, but in technical and tactical support. And how much, exactly, have the Europeans contributed both in cash, material, and support?
I believe Z quite literally just reads the scripts he is given. his job is to agitate for western entry into the war, ultimately. he is to be used as a persuasive device in western media.
If Levin didn't personally serve honorably and courageously in the our military, I'd disregard his high pitched yelping as just more Noise from a Neocon.
“Russia is wrong, and Putin is a war criminal. That being said, this is not a US problem. “
Here’s the reality. According to Article 5 of the NATO treaty, an attack against one member is an attack against all members. We signed up to that. If Russia takes Ukrainian territory and we don’t do everything necessary to stop them, then the next stop will be halfway through Poland. Russia is trying to reestablish the depth of field they had during Soviet times. This may be nostalgia on Putin’s part, or he may want a legacy because nobody is going to attack a country with nuclear weapons. But whatever the reason Putin is not likely to stop if he wins in Ukraine. The thinking is, stop them in Ukraine or face them on NATO soil due to article 5. The US has made the calculation that spending forty billion now may avoid countless trillions later. They are trying to avoid the mistake of caving to Hitler by ceding territory. The more “we” give up, the more Putin will want.
Failing now means Putin will salami slice his way into NATO. Also, failing in Ukraine increases the CCP’s risk level in taking Taiwan. There are a whole lot of dominoes poised the fall and the US is attempting to prevent the first one from falling. Had we done this in 2014 we wouldn’t be doing this now. But Crimean was Putin’s “last territorial demand.” (Yeah, we’ve heard that before.)
I think eventually we will know what happened, it won’t be reported by the MSM, but we will find out by independent journalists on the right and left.
Going to war with Ukraine seems to be the one thing both sides in Washington totally agree on, those who are opposed to this war are on both ends of the political spectrum.
I make the analogy of Covid and Ivermectin, the amount of lies and misinformation put out to tarnish Ivermectin and any Doctor who promoted its use, indicates to me that Ivermectin not only worked but worked exceedingly well.
Something similar will happen in Ukraine, if Russia wins the war, we will start to hear coverups in Washington and stories will start to emerge over the corruption in Ukraine, if stories and reporters start getting trashed by the MSM and Washington Politicians, then we will know the stories are probably true.
Good thing Ukraine fighting or not is not up to a bunch of limp wristed Liberaltarians and vile know-nothing Putinists on FR. The support will still continue to roll in, with 70-80% of all Americans supporting it because they have enough common sense to understand why a totalitarian regime cannot just rape, murder and dominate another country without resistance.
So keep spreading BS and instanity as you isolate us even further.
The only good thing we have going for us is that the hard left is also united against Ukraine, with the "Crew" dealing with the "Democratic Socialists" calling for the eradication of NATO and the cessation of all support of Ukraine for the same reasons our freaks and creeps on this website do.
Yeah, and we elected them to rule over us. We allowed that cancer to consume every single institution in this country.
I remember. Haven’t listened to that dope since.
If Marks is pleading then the Cabal must be bleeding
The globohomo rallying cry is less than inspiring.
Oh, you mean like Democrats, huh?
Because of their warmongering I quit Levin just as I quit Hannity and the other Fox shills. I feel ashamed to have ever followed them.
Great suggestion! I wonder if he still is a FReeper? (if my memory serves)
If so, perhaps he’ll see this?
IMHO, all of the cheering and pleading for Ukraine was a ploy for getting as much money as possible there to help cover up the despicable money laundering, bioweapons, sex trafficking operations that were and are headquartered there. Since when do so many uni-party big wigs jump to catch a flight to a war zone in some far-away land. This stinks to high heavens, and I only hope some good guys get to the bottom of it all.
Levin and Vannity. The Great One and the Uber Stupid One.
> If Russia takes Ukrainian territory and we don’t do everything necessary to stop them, then the next stop will be halfway through Poland. <
No disrespect meant, but I do not buy that argument. And that’s because I’ve heard it before. Back in the early 1960s we where told that if we don’t stop the communists in Vietnam, then Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, etc. would fall. There’d be a domino effect. The folks who told us that were wrong.
But I do not completely discount your argument. You’d be correct if Putin truly is another Hitler. I just don’t see that. I see Putin more like that opportunist Italian dictator, Mussolini. Still not a good guy, but not a crazy expansionist either.
