State Farm learns the wokey lesson.
A hundred years ago George Mecherle perceived his neighbors in rural Illinois were paying too much for insurance, so he started a company to sell car insurance to farmers. An early innovation of his was offering better rates for those who didn’t drink and drive. Today his company, State Farm Mutual Insurance Company, is the largest property and casualty insurer in the U.S with 57,000 employees. But I expect George, were he still alive, might be frowning at State Farm’s woke management team shooting themselves in the corporate foot last week.
Today State Farm generates close to eighty billion dollars in annual revenues, thanks to its 18,000 captive agents, who can sell only State Farm products. Recently State Farm felt moved to enhance its diversity and inclusion image, by enlisting their captive agents in distributing free books for young children to local schools and libraries.
There does appear to be a low level of children’s literacy in this country, especially in some minority communities. So, did State Farm include these popular children’s books of 2021?
Above the Rim: How Elgin Baylor Changed Basketball. Becoming Muhammad Ali. All Thirteen: The Incredible Cave Rescue of the Thai Boys’ Soccer Team. No! Instead, State Farm opted to donate books regarding transgenderism and gender fluidity to encourage what State Farm described as “challenging, empowering, and important conversations” with children as young as age five. These books included:
A Kids Book About Being Transgender. A Kids Book About Being Non-Binary. In both books children who claim to be transgender use a variety of pronouns to identify themselves and allege that their gender is what they say it is. As one transgender youth in A Kids Book About Being Non-Binary

I will suggest that the she earns less than the he’s
The well meaning but ill informed She’s are the problem
Just like we found about this through a State Farm insider, I would love a leak from inside about what point actually caused them to break? Was 10 agents enough? 100? 1000? Did they change grudgingly complaining about the unenlightened flyover country rubes or were they truly surprised that they had screwed up? Did they secretly vow to find a less visible way to sneak this past or did they swear to never make this mistake again?
We just signed up with the auto and homeowner insurance that Costco sells. Hubby is a scientist and researches everything to death, and settled on that one.
If they really want to distribute books for children to read they could hook up with the Gideons and distribute Bibles.
I liked the old Jake. His voice was better. But apparently he was a white adult male and we can’t have that.
I will never, never use Statist Farm for anything.
[[The spirit of antichrist is working overtime lately]]
Ain’t he though? It’s getting bad the world over. The WEF seems to be the Manger in which he will be born too, but his spirit is moving mightily these days. If things don’t begin to swing back to the right soon, things will get very bad very quickly. Already truth is maligned while lies are revered.
Saw z meme yesterday- a trannie insisting we call him a woman. Then below that picture was archeologists, 1000 years later, digging up his bones and declaring “it was a male”
Htr left demand that we ignore rea, ity, and accept the lies they spew nonstop- and they are getting away with it even passing laws based on the lies. Gonna get much worse too.
They said they stopped distributing the books but no word on firing people so the cancer continues at State Farm.
Ford and j.c penny “backed away too” many years ago when folks got together and boycotted them for, going woke, and almost bankrupted them, but under the surface, behind the scenes, they were still supporting the woke, thye just weren’t vocal about it anymore. But now that many companies are coming out of,the closet, and supporting woke, more and more companies feel emboldened to do,the same. Our problem is that we no longer boycott en mass like we did back when j.c penny tried going woke, so companies choose to lose some customers but still make enough to stay in business because there aren’t enough protestors

Do a search for mutual insurance companies in your state. They are a little closer to their customers.
“We no longer support the program allowing for distribution of books in schools,” a State Farm spokesperson said. “We will continue to explore how we can support organizations that provide tools and resources that align with our commitment to diversity and inclusion. “

Yeah, and Progressive is VERY expensive as well as very leftist. I recently canceled my home and auto insurance with them and finally went to USAA. Not leftist, and significantly less expensive with bundled coverage. (No, I am not a USAA shill :-)
They’re a good insurance company. I would have been surprised if Costco had started their own but these companies have profiles on the types of customers that are members and when they partner with another company like AFI, it can be profitable for both.
I want to know how Jake went from white to black.
