Have conservatives ever been hated harder than they are now?
Roger Scruton was a British philosopher who spent his life defending conservative values. Sir Roger, as he was after his knighthood in 2016, saw the antagonist culture as a rejection of inherited values, including gender distinctions, capitalism, patriotism, religious faith, and everyday morality such as honesty and prohibitions against theft, adultery, and other evils.
No one understood antagonism better, on a theoretical level, than Scruton, and he wrote with passion and clarity. For anyone wishing to understand the culture of antagonism, Scruton's books, including The Meaning of Conservatism, The Aesthetics of Music, and How to Be a Conservative, are a good place to start.
But even Scruton did not understand the full force of antagonist culture because, in truth, he did not live to see just how destructive it could be. He did not see rules enforced against the use of gendered pronouns and applied to children as young as three. He did not see the teaching of CRT and other forms of minority-supremacist ideology take the place of actual learning in schools.

But now we understand the effects of the culture of antagonism as Scruton could not have. The antagonists are now in charge of the Democrat party in America; they are controlling policy at the Biden administration; they are everywhere in schools, colleges, and universities; they still control much of the courts and legal thinking in America, despite the enormous contribution of President Trump in appointing three Supreme Court justices and hundreds of federal judges; and in all areas they are determined to press their fiery nihilism to its destructive end, inciting a revolutionary crisis intended to sweep away constitutional democracy and replace it with a totalitarian State.

The left showed their colors during the French Revolution and they have only gotten worse since then.
Do we need Guillotines, or just more lamp posts?
“Have conservatives ever been hated harder than they are now? “
This is the thing many don’t understand: The left have ALWAYS hated with the same white hot passion. You can’t go beyond possibility. Understanding this is what led me , in 1995. to predicting civil war in this country.
It seems that the Elites, backed by the Deep State, have decided that the little people consume too much of the planet and need to be shrunk in number and driven back into a state of bare existence.
Soon even the labor they might contribute will not be needed because AI machines will take their place.
The criticism of fools is high praise. My position is one of maximal personal freedom with concomitant personal responsibility and respect for others freedom.
I’ve never heard a cogent argument against this position.
The Elites want us all dead because we consume too much (and frankly because we are the dross of humankind).

Homey don’t play dat.
Evil despises moral. Democrats are evil. Nothing new.
The job of “Conservativism” = being a part of the world, wide restrainer movement. Without us, there would be no nation, and evil would run rampant and unhindered. Thr more victories we have, the more incensed and violent the left become., and the more they attack on all fronts. It truly is a battle between good and evil. (Not that every conservative is good, and every ,iberal evil, but by and large)
Good, has always been hated by evil, but u til recently, the evil tended to do,their evil on the sly somewhat, hiding their disdain for good- then along comes Obama, and they decided they no longer had to hide their disdain or efforts to usurp the rights of the good. They came to realize that they truly do,own and control everything important that allows them to,get away with their evil, like courts, judges, the Supreme Court, cops, governors, mayor’s etc, and the msm. They also learned that they could use violent domestic terrorist groups like blm antifa to do their dirty work and not be held accountable-
So now thier evil runs rampant and unopposed- thanks to the uniparty who are holding onto the coattails of the left so,they can get their little slice of the pie too.
But now we understand the effects of the culture of antagonism

Liberal supremacism. Are they not a group who believes that THEY are superior and should therefore dominate society?
In a rational country your philosophy would be widely praised as one to emulate.
I wouldn’t call it the “culture of antagonism” .
It’s simply a morality play that has been playing throughout history.
It’s radicalism vs conservatism.
Radicals are unhappy with the imperfections of the status quo, so they want to blow it up and start anew to create their untested imaginary perfect Utopias and Wakandas.
Conservatives on the other hand understand that life isn’t perfect and that following rules for living that have been learned through experience over the millennia is a much better way to go. And yes you always look to improve things but it must be done in a cautious and small scale way at first, to see that it actually is an improvement.
There’s a great poem by Kipling that speaks to these differences - “The Gods Of The Copybook Headings”, It could easily serve as the conservatists manifesto.
