INCINNATI (WKRC) - On May 28, 2016, a small boy fell into the gorilla exhibit at the Cincinnati Zoo. What happened next prompted internet outrage across the world: a gorilla was killed. That gorilla was named "Harambe".
Harambe was the 17-year-old western lowland gorilla who had noticed that the boy fell into the enclosure. He approached the boy and grabbed him. Video shows Harambe dragging the young boy around the retaining pool in the enclosure as onlookers shout and scream in response.

No, but I remember when it happened. It takes a year for my old computer to download all the ads before the video plays. The gorilla wasn’t trying to harm the kid, obviously, or it would have. If killing the gorilla was the only way to recover the kid, I’m all for it; but I thought at the time that they had tranquilized it first, and killed it later. Either way, the first priority is getting the kid, agreed.
And where were the kid’s parents in all of this?
I liked Harambe more than George Floyd. He never stuck a pistol in a pregnant woman’s belly.
I hadn't heard that one. Do you still have the link?
Thanks for the comedy
Tucker Carlson: Everything the media didn't tell you about the death of George Floyd March 11, 2021"Between 1997 and 2007, police in Texas arrested Floyd a total of nine times, on charges ranging from drug possession to theft. Then, on Aug. 9, 2007, George Floyd barged into a woman's home and held a gun to her abdomen in front of her toddler. It was a home invasion, and George Floyd got five years in prison for participating in it."
A week or so ago, I read something on FR about a gorilla dying shortly after being vaccinated for covid. It was very sad and I hope it was not true.
What? That has been common knowledge for two years in conservative media.

Harambe’s still dead.

Sometimes I take a break from the news. Sometimes I just forget things.
Pretty sure they never tranquilized him.
They probably never said if they just head-shot it, which frankly I would have done—too graphic for the average audience. So I guess I just assumed. Still, the poor gorilla was just doing what gorillas do. They’re generally pretty docile creatures unless threatened.
